Been looking for something to give me more consistency in my drives-- I hit my 3 wood pretty straight for around 220 yards, so I wanted to move into a driver for when I needed more. My past driver, a 10.5* Orlimar Trimetal was great when I connected, but I'm just not good enough to play it. The Taylor made is perfect-- 250 yards and constistent. Even when poorly struck the ball goes over 200 and pretty straight. The extra loft is great for me, because it adds some forgiveness but I still get solid distance. A great club.

Got this club three weeks ago, and love it. It cured my slice. It even produce a hook when I try to kill it. However, the hook is not so bad. I used to have the Callaway Hawkeye and the Hippo Giant. Usually, I hit about 230 to 240 yards (5'6" , 135 lb) My ball flight is terrible (Slice, fade). Now, with this club, I'm consistently in the 250 and straight. For those guys with a high swing speed, I suggest get a more stiff flex than the stock because you will hook it most of the time. (so swing at about 75 to 80%). Either that or you have to aim a little right (that's what i have been doing).

I have had this club for 3 months, and after a couple of trips to the range and the first round, I realized what I had been missing - fairways! I have the 9.5 Degree with a stiff Taylor Made stock shaft and I love the feel and performance. It is about 20 yards longer than my previous driver - a maraging steel mid-size, on on-center hits, and balls hit off the heel or toe still are long and stay in or around the fairway. All you have to do is swing smooth. My swing leads to a fade on good days and a slice on the others. With this club, there has been a dramatic reduction of left to right, and now I hit the ball almost straight (and an occasional draw.) This is trouble when you set up for a fade, but the more you swing it, the more you trust it, and the more fairways you hit! This is a great club and a terrific value at less than 200 bones!

You know when you pre-swing with one of those casual "rehersal swings" that are usually in a perfect happy medium in your feeling, tempo, and mind? Well...this is the only club that I hit straight and effortlessly with that swing (involving the ball ofcourse). If I want to relax and play the whites, this is the best club to use. I dont look to play the distance game but I will usually play a 7 to pw irons on the majority of the holes! I have the standard stock S flex shaft. Its the best club for the Sunday weekend golfer. Its easy to use, and its not physically stressful to use due to the feel and lightweight. Its the best club for the common player who does not play in the blues and blacks. Basically, my point is that since the club gets the ball straight with high carry and less effort on my swing, the round of golf is actually a more pleasurable and a content experience.

I think that they have a two year warranty on shaft breakage at the hosel area. ???

Quite simply, the best weapon in my bag. This club has transformed my game, sending long drives to the short stuff time and time again. It makes the rest of the game so much easier, leaving me with shorter 2nd shots from the fairway every time. Easy to hit, forgiving when not through the sweet spot. Cannot fault it.

What a great club! I have always used Taylormade woods and have just switched from a Supersteel driver to the 360. With my new swing and this new club I am about 20 yards further. My longest thus far is 280(Im not a long hitter). I average about 260 with it dead straight, a little fade, or a little draw.

Bought the driver and played with it the same day I recieved. The stock stiff flex shaft was dramatically underpowered for my swing speed (around 120 mph) and was placed back in the bag for the rest of the round. Re-shafted with YS-7 Tour stiff shaft cut to 44" and haven't looked back. Hit on average 11 of 14 fairways with drives around 305 yards, including a 376 yard drive to win the long drive for a tourney. Excellent club.
