Awesome club, it corrected my slice and i now drive the ball about an average of 40 yards longer. Most impressed. bought it at Galaxy Golf and the staff there was awesome sizing me for the club. they also gave me about an 45 minute lesson,at no charge. I PROBABLY HAD THE WORST SLICE EVER. I'M TALKING YOU HIT THE BALL IT GOES 200 YARDS AND THEN TURNS ALMOST ALL THE WAY AROUND AND COMES BACK TO YOU. I HAD TRIED OTHER DRIVERS. I HAVE TRIED EVERY OPINION KNOWN TO MAN AND NOTHING WORKED. THEN I PURCHASED THE BURNER DRAW AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE. I NOW HIT THE BALL STRAIGHT AND FARTHER THEN EVER BEFORE. I TOOK MY GAME FROM THE HIGH 90'S INTO THE HIGH 70'S WITH THIS DRIVER. IT MAY NOT BE FOR EVERYONE BUT IT HAS MADE MY GAME COMPLETE.

Bought one through Ebay for $105 shipped. On the range, I have the Zelocity Pure Contact. It is based on Doppler Radar, and it is fairly accurate. My ball speed went from 135mph with my old driver (Mactec NVG2 Draw) to 144 mph with Burner Draw. This was using the range balls, so I would say +5mph with real balls. So far, I am really satisfied with this club. Haven't used it on the course. Since I am only 5'8" in height, I am going to cut about 1 inch off the club. It is slightly too long for me. I was choking down on the club.

I had always had from between a medium to full on slice - talking right angles here and uncontrolable on a good day until I bought this driver. I have now cut my slice COMPLETELY out of my game .... combining this driver with some good advice from a more accomplished golfer has worked wonders for my game. I played a round yesterday and drove a par 4 300 yards pin high within 8 foot of the pin that was completely non wind assisted. Longest drive with it so far on a downhill hole with a strong wind behind me was a full 370 yards (it was quite a strong wind by the way :-)
Anyway - what I'm trying to say is if you have a slice - this has GOT to be the driver of choice !!

WOW!!! I have never in my life been able to hit a driver straight. That has all changed now that I have the Burner Draw in my bag. I swing nice and slow with a smooth tempo...when I hit this club right is goes straight as an arrow, and my drives are rolling past 250yrds. Even on mis hits it is very forgiving, producing a slight fade with still good distance. I highly recomend this club to anyone like me who slices any and all other drivers off the tee. It has changed my game. I now have tons of confidence standing on the tee box!

I couldnt believe the results. I was hitting it straighter than ever and reaching between 200 and 250 yds easily. Its well worth the money and i reccomend the club to anyone.

I have only been playing golf for two months. My borther got me into it. He's been playing for ten years. I bought a beginer set of Rams which came with the bag, driver, irons and everything you need to get started. I had the worst slice every time I would hit the RAM driver. I am talking BAADDD!!! I can actually hit the short irons good, and the long irons OK. I figured I would try a new driver. I bought the Taylor Made burner draw driver and the next day I took it to the range. I could not believe what was happening. I was hitting the ball straighter then I ever have. And the the drives that I didn't hit so good turned into Fades, not huge slices. I was driving the ball 250 to 300 yards. I am even out driving my brother. This driver is worth the money. I will most likely never by any other brand of clubs other then Taylor Made.

Those are all of the drivers I have had over the last two seasons. I am a pretty descent player who shoots in the high 70's on average. I had heard that this club lacked some distance and was made for high handicappers. I hit a fade on most occasions with a banana a couple times every round.

With this club I am hitting the ball consistently straight and very far. I on some occasions hit a drive around 340 yards or so. I kid you not on a par four 387 yards yesterday I hit it into the bunker on the left side of the green. This club has plenty of pop. You can really tell when you hit the ball that this club fights the slices. It may not be for everybody but it just gave me a ton of confidence.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Burner Draw Driver

I recently purchased a 9.5 degree Burner Draw driver with a regular shaft. I am not a big hitter, my swing speed is only in the 90 MPH range. I usually shoot in the high 80's to low 90's.I have tried many different drivers over the years with very little success. I could not strike the ball consistantly and most of them produced a fairly significant fade. This forced me to use my 3 wood off of the tee which of course left me with very long appraoch shots to the greens on the per 4's.
Then the Burner Draw driver comes along and believe it or not I can hit it consistantly in the 240-250 yard range either straight down the middle or with a very controlled slight fade. This club has made all the difference in my confidence level on the tee box. Now, I actually have a pretty good idea of where my shot is going to end up. And having approach shots to the green with a 7 or 8 iron instead of a 4 or 5 iron has made a huge difference in getting on the green in regulation. I went out and played 9 holes last week and shot 38, and I credit most of that improvement to the new driver along with some nice iron shots into the greens. This club may not be for everyone, but it sure has made a huge difference in my game. Try it out, you may find a new "friend" in your bag.

I have struggled with a moderately sever slice for 45 years. Over the years I've tried lessons and different equipment including many drivers with draw faces. I am also an accomplished club maker.

Anyway, on a hunch, I bought this driver in 10.5 loft with a regular shaft. My swing speed is 95 mph with a medium slow tempo. I cut the club down 1.25 inches to 44 inches.

On my home course yesterday the results were very good. I hit most fairways and hit the ball with a power fade or dead straight all day.

When you lay the club heel flat on the ground the face is closed a ton! I suppose this helps players set the club up with a closed face. The graphics are also scewed left for a closed face (RH) setup. Anyway, it works well.

I've always preferred super light shafts - 50 grams is waaaay light and this improves club head speed too.
