At first, the TM rescue mid is hard to get a hang of but once you start practicing with it, it is the best. Right now it is the best club in my bag and it is really easy to hit out of the rough and esspeacially off the fairway. I bought the TM Resuce Mid 3 iron about a month ago and plan on getting a Rescue Mid 2 iron in the near future.

Model Reviewed: TM Rescue Mid #2 and #3

I initially prurchased a Rescue mid 2 as a 4 wood replacement. I have never hit fairway woods well so when I started out poorly with the mid, I did't think much of it. Eventually, after experimenting with ball placement and realizing the draw bias, I began crushing the club with a beuatiful draw. The other day, I reach the back of a par 5 green from 250+ yards uphill with it. Lands like an 8 iron.

Went out and got the 3 in steel to replace my old friend three iron. Perfect club from 210-225. I am confortable with taking something off to fight the wind.

How does no one on tour shoot 59 each week with these tools.

Now, most par 5s tremble before my 580xd and the rescues. Revolutionary clubs, indeed.

Model Reviewed: TAYLORMADE RESCUE MID TP

Tried the TM Rescue TP 2 and 3, Loved the 3 off the fairway. the TP is great off the tee, but is alittle hard to get up off a tight lie. My swing speed with Driver is about 98-102. 2 iron distance is about 225. Liked them so much I got a TM Rescue 4(which is great, hits higher so is a good combo with 2,3 TP. Much easier to hit than 2,3 4irons. I see why alot of pros carry the Hybrid clubs

These clubs are the answer for those of us who are losing our ability to hit the longer irons. I'm in my fifties and struggled to hit my longer irons effectively (in my younger days, I loved my 1 iron). So I moved to high lofted woods. I always preferred long irons and I still had no substitute for the 4 and 5 irons, and those were slipping also. I tried Mizuno Hi-Flis in '02. Those were not the answer for me as they are strongly biased to hook the ball, which I do not need. I was led to the Rescue Mids by a Washington Golf staffer who had the 2 iron in his bag. One by one, they have replaced my lofted woods and my 4 and 5 irons. They are also biased to hook somewhat, but they are very easy to hit and I have some great days with them - my distance is fine with these clubs. I'm now experimenting with the Rescue Mid TPs. Theoretically, they hook less, which is why I'm trying them. But they also come with heavier shafts and "keep the ball down". I think those qualities will mean less distance and may not be right for my game - I will see and I will post a review when I get some play in with them.

Customer Service

I have used a lot of TM equipment but I've never had to use their customer service.
