The titleist 975d is pure power. Before i got this sweet driver, i was hitting around 230, but now im hitting 260+. This driver is giving me confidience when i step up to a tee box and shows wonderful results. This was def. a great buy and has a great look. One very sweet driver that everyone should have in their bags. This driver is changing numbers on the score card. Similar Products Used: None |

This golf club is great, i struggle with driving but when i got my hands on this i gained so much distance,i also had a harrison stiff shaft on it and it makes the club even better, with the low trajectory and huge role the ball keeps goin and goin Similar Products Used: callaway steelhead, steelhead plus, VFT, tri metal |

7.5 º 975D w/BiMatrix Shaft
I posted a review on 12/31/00 and since then I have tried many other shafts such as the UST 65, Grafalloy Prolite 35, and recently the BiMatrix. By far the BiMatrix is the best for this driver. It gives the head an uncomparable feel to any other driver and it is more solid at impact then normal. If you are thinking of getting rid of your 975D seriously try a BiMatrix shaft in it. You will immediately change your mind. Customer Service Poor weren't willing to help me with questions on the club specs. Similar Products Used: All Big Names |

I have always been a callaway man until I decided I needed more accuracy and less height and spin.I bought the ping Tisi but found it to be unforgiving because of it's size. Customer Service Very good. Similar Products Used: Callaway steelhead plus, hawkeye, hawkeye vft,erc and erc2.Ping TISI |

After golfing for 25 years and using a 3 wood to tee off with (most recently a Callaway Big Bertha 3 wood) I decided it was time to join the big boys and buy a driver. Read many reviews and tried out several models. Taylor Made 300 series all caused a hook. Callaway VFT was a nice club but I couldn't justify $400 (as well as having to change the shaft.) Tried the 975d 8.5* with Titleist Ultralight 65 TX shaft and found that it works great. However it is definitely a club that you need to have a fundamental swing to use as it will not correct all of your mistakes. Reasonably good hits are well rewarded with a penetrating drive that will definitely fly and have a good roll. For me, it definitely added some noticable yardage from using a 3 wood. I would recommend this to anyone that has a decent swing and with the new Js coming out you can find some good deals on these at $225 or less. Titelist 975 D
Great Driver! Bought in when the price went down because the 975J came out. I wish i wouldnt have waited! However, beginners beware as this driver can be difficult to hit. I wouldn't recommend it to a novice. Even accomplished golfers should demo, or hit this club before they purchase it as some do not like the feel of it, or cannot hit it well. But if you can hit i gurantee it will bring you more distance. I gained 15 yards off the tee from my former driver a Callaway Steelhead. I defintely recommend you try it out!! Premier Driver. This piece of equipment demands that your skill level be higher than the normal golfer. You can absoulutely crush the ball doen the fairway and work the all from L to R or R to L. My brother uses a PING Tisi which feels and works very sinilar, but it looks goof because it is so huge. The 975D has a genuine classic look to go along with its awesome performance. **important** dont use the stock shafts, they are horrible. I switched to the Proforce 65s and it compliment the head that much more. Similar Products Used: ping ISI irons |

Titleist 9.5 Stiff Dynamic Gold shaft
I demoed this club at driving range and it seemed to keep up distance wise with the VFT and Steelhead Plus. But it responded more to the nuances of your stroke than the previous 2 mentioned. All in all, if you have the money, get one, good club, but you must swing well, the club will not help you or correct anything, and it shouldn't. I'm young, learn to swing well, don't correct your swing, with clubs, correct it with a better swing. Picked this sucker up at the local shop for a good price because they're clearing it out for the 975js. I had been in the market for a driver for a long time. I had been using an orlimar trimetal before, and though it worked for me at the beginning, I found that as my swing improved, the orlimar became more erratic. I must have tested out every freakin driver out there. Similar Products Used: None |

Not your average club, if long and straight you like'em. this club is definetley for you. i was hitting 220-230 with my old driver and now i am 260+ even a few blasts getting in the 290 area, folks i'm 14.this club is forgiving as long as you are not much off the center then your ball length is gonna be just great.i got an ei-70 shaft 8.5* . this is the club to go with if you can hit about a ball length around the sweetspot, and whatta sweetspot it is.
