This club is sooo great... All I can say... Really I would like to tell everyone DO NOT BUY this so I can be the only one to own it...but that will never happen... Demo this club till you find the right shaft and you will buy it... I read a review on here that said the same thing...and I really didn''t want to buy a new driver...I was still using the old Howitzer...also I have a great big bertha...let me tell you find the right shaft and you will be 30 yards farther and allot more straighter than any other driver... Felt it was time to replace my 9 degree firm Steelhead. Not for any particular reason other than that changing clubs once in awhile peaks the pre-season excitement. I''ve only just hit it on the range (indoors at that), however it feels like a very consistent club. I was impressed with it''s consistency in off centre hits and agree with most of the reviewers about the X vs. S contoversy due to the bore thru design. My driver swing speed on relaxed balanced swings is 103-105 mph, although Titleist recommends this shaft for my speed, my early read is that it may be too stiff - I''ll play a couple of rounds first before passing final judgement. One final comment, I have discovered I really don''t like Titleist full cord grips and will change it to someting a little tackier. Customer Service No experience Similar Products Used: None |

This is a very good club,I used to play d model and loved it. I switched to the j and love the forgiveness and extra distance, got a great deal on trade in and made it that much better, excellent driver, shot an 88 first round using it, hitting the first four fairways. The 975J is the best driver i have ever hit. Sound, feel, performance and stability are the best i have ever seen. I tried the driver with a Graphalloy x flex(way to stiff) I changed to a EI-70 and bingo, the performance for me was doubled. Longer and straighter leaves not much more to ask for. Customer Service I work at the store so the service was the best i have ever had. Similar Products Used: Well working at a golf store i get to try everything. I took out the "J" and ordered one the very next day. For me it beats anything hands down. Go out there try some drivers and find the one that wor |

My friend recently got this club and couldn''t hit it so I asked him if I could use it that was in march I have easily gained 15 yards and am now averageing to hit 12 out of 14 fairways a round this club is awesome keeps the ball up in the air well and is deep wouldn''t trade it for another club in the world except a custom fit version of this one it totaly rocks. This club has made me go from a kid who shoots in the 100''s to a kid who shoots in the 80''s Customer Service Needed headcover paid small price got it quick Similar Products Used: Nothing is similar to this it rocks |

None Like any other driver, the performance of this Driver really depends on the kind of shaft you have on it. I have a 8.5* w/ Stiff 75g proforce on mine. It hits like a 11.5*. The ball doesnt ballon or nothing, the shaft just launches the ball high. I dont like it so Im going to have a Dynamic Golf steel shaft put on it to give it its true trajectory. Other than the High trajectory the shaft gives me its a great driver and will be even Greater when i have it reshafted with the Dynamic Gold. None Can really crank this thing looong approx. 275-300 metres. Only thing I don''t like is the pinging noise if you hit it off centre - must be because of the thin face. Thinking of switching to the 975D for this reason. Similar Products Used: None |

None I previously played a Mizuno T-Zoid Pro-Forged driver with a Proforce 65 X-flex shaft. I thought I''d never find a driver with more distance or a better trajectory. Also used to play a 975D 9.5 with ProLite-S. Tried several demo 975J''s with different shafts and didn''t like the trajectory or distance. I''ve been in a slump recently so I decided to try a 975J 8.5 with an R-flex Proforce 65. S-flex just felt unresponsive with the Proforce and ProLite. Played this weekend, and I am in awe - seriously. Things I loved: it doesn''t balloon, I don''t have to fight a hook, yet could easily hit a nice draw without feeling like it would snap, and could hit it string straight at times. Plus I hit several drives 15-20 yds beyond where I''ve ever been on a course I''ve played for 9 years. The loft and shaft seem to be a perfect match for my swing. As I said, I''m truly in awe - I''ve tried SO MANY drivers, and this one is light years better (and I''m a Mizuno junkie too!!!). The results were that good.
