Titleist 905t 9.5 stiff speeder shaft
Don't belive others when they say this is just for low handicappers. i play off a 15 handicap and am only 15 years of age and this driver is a beast. Off centre hits still fly reasonable but when you really middle it it flys high and long. I had recently been using a king cobra but this is 15-20 yards longer but also on the short stuff much more. The driver sets up perfectly behind the ball with its pear shape profile and feels so solid all across the face. Great driver and stock speeder shaft is very controllable. Also the head size is great at 400cc as it gives you enough confidence without being overwhelming like the newer 905r model. Customer Service Have not had to use it yet as i bought it second hand and there have been no issues with construction. Similar Products Used: King cobra sz440,King cobra sz400,titleist 975d |

Titleist 905 T 9.5 Speeder Stiff
Started using this club just over the past month. I was using the 905 s 8.5 with Graf Blue stiff shaft. The 905 s was giving about the same distance but wasnt very forgiving and the ball flight was too low. Switched to the 905T 9.5 and Speeder shaft. Much more consistent and still very long.

905T
Went to hit a bucket of balls this week, & with no prior intention of buying a new driver, picked up a Tiburon (on sale) to try. Pro gave me a Cobra 414 & 905T also to try (both on sale). 905T, even at sale price, was way out of my budget (AUS$399, about US$309, & yes, I know, much cheaper on the net, but not much good left-handed stuff here in Perth), but thought I'd give it a crack. Those extra dollars would have to be for all the $million sponsorships, surely! Well, the 905T felt much better than my old Bang TF360 & the other 2 clubs (surprise surprise!), went either straight, slight draw or fade, whereas I was hooking the others. To all those mid-high handicappers out there (& we're the majority!), ignore all the comments suggesting that this club is only for "good" players, or low handicappers; my official h/cap is low 90's, but can play low 80's on a good day. This club feels better than the others I've tried, a little more distance, but better workability & accuracy. Try one, if you've got the money, buy it! And no, I don't work for Titleist, I wish!! You guys in the States are lucky with all the cheap superseded models you can get. Customer Service Don't know, haven't had to use. When I first got this Driver I was a little skeptic. I couldn't really hit it long and it seemed to die a little bit too soon. After I got used to it, however, I am consistently hitting the ball 250-300, which is absolutely incredible for me, given the fact that I used to max out at 225. |

905 T / YS-6+ (S)
One of most beautiful looking drivers you'll ever see - unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I swing the club at around 100 mph but, I think to get the full benefits of this head one must swing faster. Found the 905T to be rather unforgiving and lifeless. The ball never did jump off 'hot' as I had hoped. Also had a pretty 'hard' hit to it. After hitting some demos and further research - decided to trade this in on a Taylor Made Dual R5. Wow, talk about a night and day difference - this thing really flies and it's ultra-forgiving. Now I'm not saying the 905T isn't a great club, I'm just saying it wasn't a great club for me. Did find the YS-6 shaft fantastic. Put one in my Dual R5 as a matter of fact. I traded in my G2 on the 905T because I wanted the shorter shaft for more control. I like the looks of the Titleist better but I think the G2 is the better overall driver. You can find both very cheap right now and can't go wrong with either club. I'm a little disappointed in the flight of the 905T. It reminds me of the early titanium clubs that have a ballooning trajectory. Maybe a shaft a little more stiff than the NV would make this club a better buy. Similar Products Used: G2, 905S, 540XD, |

905T 8.5* w/ Aldila NV 85 stiff
club is straight & long and going for peanuts now on ebay (got mine for $160 w/ shipping). The club has carry and when balls land they roll. If you can find one try to get it with a NV85 or speeder 757, or some other low torque shaft not the stock noodle shafts like the NV65, makes a world of difference. I will not be buying another driver 4 a long time... Similar Products Used: MacGregor Tourney V-Foil, Nike Ignite 410, Ping G2 |

Titleist 905t 9.5 Aldila NV 65s
I bought the 905T last week off of ebay, based much on the reviews here. I had hit a friend's 983K last summer and fell in love with it, but never got around to getting one of my own. After reading that the 905T was essentially an upgraded version of it 983K, I basically bought it on an impulse buy. I got a great deal on a new 9.5 degree with a Aldila NV 65 stiff shaft for $180 including shipping. I had demoed the Aldila shaft last year, on a 983K when I considering buying one, and also fell in love with it. I expected the 905T and the Aldila shaft to be an excellent combo as well, but am regretting my decision just a bit now. The Aldila shaft does not play anywhere near stiff, it feels very whippy. Just demo shafts before you buy the club, obviously, as I should have, instead of making assumptions.

I purchased this club after playign with teh 975D for years and years. This club is absolutely horrible unless your a scratch golfer. Had my swing analyzed two different shafts and same result no distance no consistancy. The sweet spot is the size of a dime. |
