Great driver especially since I picked it up used for $25. Sweet spot is huge and I have never hit a driver so well in my life.

First off I'll say that I have NEVER been able to hit a driver well in my life. For the past 3 years I haven't even owned one, I would just tee off with a 3 iron. This driver is AMAZING though. I hit it straight and long, about 260-300. I was really skeptical about the club, but if you're debating on getting one, just do it, it's worth every penny.

Model Reviewed: Zevo 10.5 Compressor Driver

I recently traded a putter for this Zevo 10.5 degree driver, had seen theses drivers before but knew nothing about them. Got home and imediately read reviews about these drivers, and was amazed how high everyone had rated them. Went the next day to a local course, played the front 9 with my trusty Mizuno Mp001 460cc w/ V2 custom shaft. Decided to try the Zevo on the back 9, teed it up easy swing, boom ball was gone. Single that was playing with me, had to hit it, boom ball was gone. We both drove our carts down the middle of the fairway to our individual balls. It was a Par 4, 390 yd hole, he was out 90 yds, I was out 72 yds. Amazing driver, extremely long and accurate, good bye Mizuno!!

Model Reviewed: Zevo Compression driver 9*

I played withe two guy's they paried me up with at the course. Older gentlemen about late 50's. i am 42. I could not hit my driver all day and actually hit one off the Tee into the water. The guy handed me his Zevo off-set driver and said hit this. just tee it up high and swing. I bought the driver a few weeks later and hit it well. So I upgraded to the compression driver. I hit this club better than the offset. from the first tee at the range it went deep and staright. I was kinda embarrassed because everyone turned there heads to watch me hit. I said out loud that it was luck and wouldn't happen again. several people laughed and waited for me to hit another one. the second shot went deeper and not as high. I hit the net in mid flight close to the top. The sound the club makes had everyone at the range watching me. I was scared ti hit a 3rd and let the guy next to me try it. 30 minutes and 6 different golfers later, i finally got my club back. it was the hit at the range that day and I am sure Golfsmith made a killing that weekend on Zevo Drivers. for a high handicapper who has put his driver away and is stuck using his 3 wood. Give this club a try you will not regret it. $149.99 at Golfsmith...

Customer Service

Golfsmith was very good. after spending two weeks at the driving range everyady and hit about 40-50 drives a day. I hit the hosel and the head flew about 100 yrds. I took it back with my receipt and was issued a brand new one.

Model Reviewed: Zevo Compressor driver, 10.5 degrees, stiff shaft

I was intrigued by the Zevo Compressor design and also read plenty of positive reviews for this club, so I went internet shopping for it. It was a no-brainer when I found one at Golfsmith in good preowned condition for only $54. After hitting the Zevo Compressor, I am inclined to believe that the pre-loaded compressor head technology really does improve the length of drives. I'm not going to tell a "fish story" like so many other driver reviewers who say they are suddenly smacking 300+ yard drives with their new club (most PGA men golfers don't average over 300 yard drives). But previously, my solid drives with the Callaway C4 and other inexpensive drivers were about 230 yards. Based on my initial experience playing 9 holes with the Zevo Compressor driver, my well hit drives went about 250-260 yards. Not miraculous, but in my opinion, it is a significant improvement that I attribute largely to the Zevo Compressor. My accuracy with this driver was good -- however even with previous drivers, I don't hit it terribly long, but am usually on or near the fairway. The Zevo Compressor can be found in good used condition on the internet fairly cheaply like I did, and I understand that Golfsmith has brand new ones for less than $200, which seems well worth it in my opinion. I recommend this driver.

Customer Service

Zevo has been bought out by Golfsmith, who have provided me with excellent customer service over the years.

It looks like I will be the dissenting opinion this. The Zevo driver did not have any impact on my game. It wasn't a bad driver, but I hit it almost exactly the same as my Titleist 975J. No reason to switch, especially with that horrible noise the Zevo makes.

Model Reviewed: Zevo Compression Driver

I had resigned myself to hitting my 3 wood from the tee, I just couldn't hit a driver. I tried all the models with varying results, but nothing that would force me to abandon my 3 wood. I even tried hitting my old wood driver. I received the Zevo driver as a birthday present and I was very skeptical, thinking I would be returing the club very soon. The first time I hit the Zevo, my drive was straight, high and long. Plus the sound made everyone turn their head to see who had hit the shot. I have added at least 30 yards and at times 50 yards on my drives. Even mis-hits travel much further than a good shot with my 3 wood. I find it almost impossible to slice the ball and hitting straight drives is a new found pleasure. I have even hit a few 300 yard drives, which I would not have even dreamed of doing before. I confess I didn't like the sound of the Zevo when I first started using the driver, but the sound has grown on me. The Zevo driver has revitalized by interest in golf.

Model Reviewed: Zevo Compression Driver 10.5

I was given the opportunity to hit a Zevo Compression Driver (10.5 R flex) by a playing partner. I hit my first drive on the toe and pushed it right of the green, hole high, on a 312 yard down hill par 4. I'd never come within 15 yards of driving that hole with my Taylor Made R580 or 360XD. The next hole I hit it square, 300+ yards down the middle. After my round I came home and ordered my own Zevo ($180 on e-Bay). WHAT A CLUB!

Unbelievable club. Nearly impossible to mis-hit. I was using TaylorMade R580 - I now hit it so much farther and I am far more accurate. I hit 2 300+ drives Friday at Glen Garden in Ft Worth and the fairways were rather shaggy. At 51 yrs old, my swing speed in not very fast so I use the stock regular flex shaft.

Customer Service

GolfSmith has a 90 day 10% trial offer - @ $199 - return the club and pay $19.99. It took them 17 days to get me the head cover.
