Model Reviewed: Adams- Strong 3

I first bought a Original Adams Tight Lies (16 degree) and played with it for about 5 months and some days I liked it and some days I didn't. I was very inconsistant with the club so I traded it in on an Adams- Strong 3. (mostly becuase it was a good deal) I have had it for about 5 months now and I hate it. I have only hit about 10 good shots with it and I play 5 times a week. I now never use it on the fairway or rough but it does punch out if you are under a tree or something like that. I would never recommend an Adams to anyone.

After purchasing the Tight Lies, I had alot of faith in Adams. Although I can hit the Air Assault straight, low, and get a great run, I only hit it as far as the Tight Lies. Poor distance, great control.

Model Reviewed: Tight Lies Strong 3

I like the smaller face of this club compared the the bigger head 3 woods on the market. In fact, I traded in my Taylor Made Bubble Burner, because I had a hard time hitting it off the fairway or rough with it. After hitting 4 different brands of diffents lofts, I fell in love with the Adams Tight Lies Strong 3 with a steel shaft. The ball feels so soft coming off the face. It works well coming out of th rough, and on the fairway. And to my surprise, I was hitting it farther off the tee than my TaylorMade 3 wood. I highly recomend it.

Model Reviewed: Air Assault 10.5* Driver

I have the original Air Assault driver, not fairway wood, with a graphite R shaft. Everything else I hit is a S, but I really love this driver, hit it straight with roll. Big, but too big head, deeper that the Tight Lies. ANd it was <$100 used. Check E bay also.

I like it. It's old, not that pretty, but at $139 direct from Adams it's a bargain. Anyone want to buy my plastic shafted TiBubble? I can't hit this as far, but I went from 50% usable (not in the woods) to 90% usable (fairway or 1st cut) drives. 270 useable is much better than 300 into the woods. Maybe it's the steel shaft, but I love my TL strong 5 too. I like these so much I ordered a Smart 3 with a steel shaft. Can't wait to get it!
