I've had this club in the bag for a little over a year now. I've been pleased with it since the day I bought it. It's long and very solid. It frames the ball well during set-up and is easy to work, especially if you need a draw. Center hits come off "hot" and with good carry for a lower loft.

I love this club. I have always had problem getting the ball high in the air with my 3 wood. This club is so easy to hit. I am now thinking about getting a 5 wood too.

It's a great fairway wood, No Doubt!! I like the way it set up behind the ball, it gives you a comfort feeling as well as confident. You can also shape your shot easily, feels like butter when you flush it down the middle. it's so good, specially on the tight fairway or if you wanna go home in two!! See and try it for yourself!

Just tried out this driver on the course...I used to hit 240-250 yards with my old dunlop driver and although this took me a few holes to get used to, I really started hitting it into oblivion towards the 7th and 8th holes....once I even thought I 'd lost the ball only to find it at some 310 yards!!!...totally amazed with this experience :).....am fading it a bit now...but guess it shud get better with usage!! Brilliant Driver!!

Model Reviewed: Adams GT 3 wood (15 deg) and 5 wood (19 deg) - Stiff Shafts

I'm very happy with these clubs. I'm back in the game for the first time since 1990 when I consistantly scored in the mid to low 80s. I am replacing a set of Ben Hogan persimmon woods given me by my father over 30 years ago. So, I was really starting from scratch with this whole metal wood phenomenon and, therefore, I tried just about everything. I started out wanting to buy Taylor 300 series or the Cobra SS, but I kept coming back to the Adams GT. I love the weightier feel Adams GT club head. The feel at address is very comfortable. They're also a pleasing blue color. My club head speed is pretty fast, so I got the stiff shafts. When hit well, my 3 wood goes around 220-235 yds off a tee and 210-220 or so from the fairway. I hit the 5 wood about 205-215 off a tee and around 195-210 yds from the fairway. The trajectory is beautiful. They don't play the game for you: if you hit a slice or hook, they'll darn well slice or hook, etc... But, that's my fault, not the club's! But even when miss hit, the ball flies at comparable trajectories with perhaps 10% less distance, so they are forgiving. My home course is pretty tight and I find that I can effectively manage the course keeping the driver in the bag for all but two or three holes with little sacrifice in distance. I've also played a wide open course and used the 3 wood off the tee a number of times. I even used the 5 wood with confidence on a 212 yd par three (a fade took me off the green, but I was pin high!). I'm very pleased. As I get the rust out of my game and my swing regains its consistancy, I expect to like them more.

Customer Service

I gave Adams customer service a couple of phone calls with questions before I bought the clubs, and they were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The people at Golfsmith were great.

These clubs rock. I don't know if that little weight in the heel actually helps you square the club face at impact but I've been able to get these clubs square better than any I've ever hit and the balls are going long and straight. The blue heads set up nicely at address and the overall look just exudes confidence. The typical upside down Adam's head is still there (at least that's what I've read) even though it doesn't look like it anymore. I bought the 7 first and the salesman told me I would be back to get the 3 and the 5. Well, after hitting the 7 during two rounds that's exactly what I did. I would recommend anybody that has to hit a lot of fairway woods to give these clubs a look. And if you shoot in the 90s like me try giving up your 3 and 4 iron in favor of the 5 and 7 wood and you'll probably soon be in the upper 80s.
