A lot of people have love affairs with their three woods... lovers will not be dissappointed with this one. Listen.. it is quite simple.... this is the best wood around. It sets up nicely, is very easy to get flying, has consistent flight and consistent length. You can work it either way. What more do you want. If I had to sum up the feeling it would be... you will trust this club over all others.

Model Reviewed: Callaway Big Bertha 2004 15* - Grafalloy Pro Launch 75 Stiff

I have always been impressed by Callaway Technology and these 2004 BB fairway woods are iceing on the cake. I like the way this club sets up, feels and sounds. It has a nice sound at impact and a solid feel. With the Grafalloy Pro Launch shaft, this club is easy to get up in the air off the deck and great off the tee, both with a nice penetrating ball flight and superior accuracy. In my opinion, this is the easiest fairway wood I have ever tried to hit and a golfer needs that confidence standing over the ball. I highly recommend you give it a shot to see for yourself....you won't be dissappointed!

I brought this club on Ebay for $100.00 and I thought made a big mistake. Boy was I wrong!!!! This club is SWEET!!!! First day on the range I thought to myself, how can a club like this be so EASY to hit? And then the next day I took it on the golf course and WOW!!!! No mis-hits and no worries about pulling out the 3 or 4 iron for that anticipated bad shot. With this club,I understand the meaning of "working the ball" around the fairways and greens. And for me shooting in the 90's that day gave me a lot of confidence and a go to club that I can depend on in bad lies or long Par 3's. I'm not saying this a 'miracle' club but it's always nice to have a little 'something' in your bag that will help your game.

Model Reviewed: Callaway 2004 BB 3 and 5 woods

I bought these clubs after playing with Callaway Steelheads, stock graphite shafts, standard length and lie. The 2004 Big Bertha models are more precise and longer than the original Steelheads. I can take the 3 wood 260 yards off the tee box, and 220 to 230 off the turf - dead straight every time! The 5 wood is good for 210 yards for me. I get soaring shots the land soft with little roll on the green. The shaft is really not bad at all. I thought I would have to re-shaft them with USTs or Graffoloys, but they are really nice (r flex). I've regripped them with Lamkin Tour Wraps. I've never liked Callaway grips due to the slick spot around the right thumb placement. Anyway really nice woods and very accurate. If you're looking for some consistency in your fairway woods, give these a shot!

Purchased immediately for 109.00 from Ebay after using a friend's 5 wood. Excellent feel and ball response off the club face from the tee or ground. Can not give this club enough praise. Highly recommend.

Model Reviewed: Big Bertha 2004 9 Wood

I have discovered my secret weapon. I liked the results I got with my rescue 4 iron but didn't like the shape of it--it doesn't look like my fairway woods and doesn't look like my irons. So on a lark I decided to try a 9 wood--I figured I have hit so many great shots with my 7 wood that I would give it a shot. It's incredible! Even though I am a low handicap golfer I love this club. From about 190-200 yards I can hit this club dead straight with a nice high trajectory. I like it much bettter than the rescue club. Its just easy to hit a ton of shots with. My favorite is when everyone else misses their 3 and 4 irons on a tough par 3 and I hit my 9 wood with the trajectory of a lob wedge 190 right at the pin. It stops dead in its tracks. The design of the big bertha is great. Sets up to the ball nice and clean and has a huge sweetspot with a great feeling at impact.

First off, the club just looks sharp. If you can hit it well and it looks nice--BONUS! I've always liked Callaway dating back when I bought my original warbirds 10 years ago. The club has the loft of a 5 wood, so it replaces my 2 iron. It is easy to hit off the fairway and rough. The ball flies 200+ with a higher trajectory. Solid forgiving club without the oversize look at setup. Good for a mid handicapper, such as myself, and I'm sure a beginner as well. Expect to pay more with Callaway, but it is worth it!

I've had a Steelhead III in the past and didn't like it due to a hook bias. This Big Bertha is dead straight. Easy to hit. Hit some great shots out of the rough and off the tee on a long Par 3. The head is right sized...not too big, not too small.

Customer Service

Callaway CS is very good but had no need for this product
