WOW what a club. This is a great hybrid for easy distance. I can make an almost effortless swing and get 200yrds out of this club.Im also amazed at how easy it is to control yet it also has max workibility. This is a great club for more experienced golfers who can have a consistant swing. MY only thing is the stock shaft is not very good. Id recomend a Banzai shaft. Otherwise one of the best hybrids out there.hhhhhh

What a horrible club. I can buy clubs at a steep discount because I work at a golf club. We got in some Callaway hybrids a few days ago and we didn't have any samples. I was impressed with the looks of the 14 degree and without hitting it purchased it right off the rack. I was confident that such a solid playing club would do the trick. I've been playing a Titleist 690MB 2-iron for several years and I just got tired of hearing how stupid I was to still be playing such an antique. I hit the 690 really well, but was convinced by others that I would hit a hybrid much better. What a total joke. As is always the case with Callaway graphite clubs the shaft is too whippy for me. I can't hit the planet with this club. How anyone could think this type of club is superior is beyond me. I look down at the 690 and see plenty of loft. I look down at this horror show of a club and it looks like a blob. It's not an iron and it's not a fairway wood. IT IS JUST A BLOB.

I hit a 5 iron decently but wanted to see if I could gain an advantage playing a higher lofted hybrid. I picked up the Fusion FT3 Hybrid in 26 deg. loft but with the regular NVS shaft. There's not a lot of feel with this club. Between the composite head which does eliminate sidespin, but the Aldila NVS shaft is a very firm feeling shaft. Not as firm as the green NV but I prefer the kick/feel of the Grafalloy ProLaunch. No consistent distances and, of course, not as tight a dispersion pattern as a well struck 5 iron. Disappointing for such a premium priced club but being a Golfsmith purchase, I will be returning it soon.
