This club is for short hitters who hit fairwaywood approach shots.It carries much further than my old R7 steel 3 wood by 15 to 25 yards. The face seems hotter the way the ball explodes off it. The shaft is 44 inches which helps add speed into the ball.Even when I hit it thin it still goes a fair distance.
So basically if you hit it average,it will be like a well struck shot with a conventional 3 wood,But if you put a solid swing on it you will hit it further than you normally would with standard 3 woods. It also has a nice boring trajectory into the wind.
The Banzai shaft plays true to the flex that is listed.
The only negative is because of the large head,it is a little more difficult to hit sharp draws or hooks and the penatrating flight is difficult to stop on a green.
So if you are distance challenged you must try this club out. You can find them online or on Ebay for 99-220 dollars.
