This is a GREAT driver... not much more can be said... the price was "Super" for a Titanium driver and that was my motivation to buy it since I had read some great reviews...

I finally found the fairway metal I could hit a tight grouping with from both rough: 180Y-200Y, and fairway 190Y-235Y... at least for my swing: 85-95 MPH and slightly outside from the top with longer shafted clubs. I like to use the same swing with my fairway metals as I do with my irons, a slightly descending blow. Other fairway metals I have tried require a sweeping blow to get the ball up. The offset, optimum clubface depth, radiused sole, and back+bottom weight of this Gravity Back Cobra gets the ball up, solid and long from all lies with a descending blow (except >50% buried lies in the rough, which must be swept out, but then I would probably use my irons then anyway). I did my trials on an actual golf hole with "real" golf balls. I tried the other clubs and didn't come close to the distance, accuracy and precision I got with my Cobra from all lies. This one stays in my bag...and I'm on my way to my goal...single digit handicap for 2001!

I have only played 3 times with these metals, but the are weighted extremely well. The ball goes long and straight. I am going to purchase driver since I like these very much. Saw price as low as $149ea at golfdiscount.com.

i love this club. it goes on a nice, medium-high trajectory and at times is a match for distance with my big bertha warbird driver, which i hit about 280-290. nice, small head with a d-8 swing weight means you have to swing easy but the ball just goes like a rocket.

I must say I am very impressed with this golf club. I bought the 13.5-degree offset 3 wood with a stiff shaft. It is comparable in stiffness to my regular shafted driver so they are quite soft. The weighting in the head is just right to deliver a nice solid strike. The ball flies high and long. It seems easy to me to draw and fade the ball as necessary. For one so fussy (me) this is going to be in my bag for a while..
