This club is long. I was having some trouble getting fairway woods up in the air so I got this in regular flex. Now with a little bit of practice I can get to most par 5's in 2 with a decent drive. I like the little metallic sound it has when you hit it good. Fun to see my ball go further off the tee with an easy swing than most people hitting driver as hard as they can.

I traded a Hogan for this beast prior to a scamble. I have swung the club once. On a par 5 we were 230 yds from the green in one. Against a 15 mph wind, I landed it 20 feet from the pin. Nuff said....I'm keeping it.

A solid club. Easy to hit straight with the offset. A good sized sweet spot. The club just picks up the ball from the ground. Nice boring trajectory. The ball jumps off the face and goes long!

I had, for the first 14 years or so I played, only had "cheap" clubs and had just recently bought a used Ping G2 7 wood, which I thought was the best thing ever, until I bought this for a bargain $90US!
The first time I took it out I was amazed at the shots I hit (mostly off the tee, as I didn't have a driver or 3 wood). They went HIGH (higher than the G2 7) and straight (or slightly left due to the slightly closed face angle), felt great and just seemed to keep going and going (over 200m).
It became my most reliable club over the summer, even when I was seemingly hitting every other club (except the 7) badly and went well off the deck too.
I quickly went looking for the 3, which I didn't get, but found a Cobra Comp 3 which is every bit as good, although I've now upgraded to the Cobra HS9 which is just amazing (especially awesome off the tee).

Customer Service

Pretty good initially, but when I asked if I could drop in to show them a Comp 454 driver, for them to verify its authenticity, they wouldn't do it, even though it would take them about 1 min!

I swear these are the most awesome clubs ever. Today i hit my second shot on a par 5 w/ my 5 wood and it cleared the green from 245 yds. They are the longest hitting woods ever made and they make par fives birdie-able and occasionally eagle-able

This club is sweet! It's very eas to hit and it has a nice feel/sound at impact. I got the strong 3 wood so it's a little lower loft (13 degrees). It's easy to hit from the fairway and tee box alike. I would recommend this club to anyone.

I love this club, and I can't see myself taking it out of my bag any time soon. I had previously had an Adams Tight Lies 3-wood, and I really disliked that club and couldn't hit it consistently for the life of me. After reading lots of reviews, and the fact that I loved any Cobra drivers I've ever used, I decided to try out the SZ. I ended up with a 4+ wood (yeah, I've never heard of it either) because it was going for cheap on eBay. But, it's only a degree or two more loft than a regular 3-wood, and the difference between the two seems to be negligable.

This club is super-easy to hit from anywhere. Whereas I had trouble off the tee or in the rough with my Tight Lies, this Cobra will give you amazing shots from anywhere. And most importantly, straight as a dime. Even for those of us that have had slicing problems in the past, this club seems to all but cure it. If I'm shooting into a tight fairway I don't have to use my 3-iron and give up that much distance, I can use this SZ and nail it straight and only about 30 yards shorter than with my driver. And the sound and feel of hitting this club is like no other I've tried. Cobra truely makes great drivers and woods.

Simply put, I love this club. It's the best sounding club I've ever hit of any type. The ball feels hot off the face, so I don't feel like I have to over-swing to get distance. It has the stock Aldila HM Tour stiff shaft. I could probably go with a regular flex, but I was interested in accuracy over distance and that has paid off. I can hit this club straight most of the time both off the tee and from the fairway. I can also fade it when needed and can get the occasional draw, which is tough for me with any club, especially off the fairway. Forgiveness? Check. Sound? Check. Distance? Not huge, but not bad. Straight? Check. Looks? Great. Feel? Wonderful. Confidence? Oh yeah.

I would gladly buy another.

These are the best woods I ever used because they give me the confidence to hit even the 3 wood off the fairway. They hit long with a nice smooth swing. The thin face lets you know when you've hit it pure. The Cobra 3 wood is great off the tee. I hit my driver 270 off the tee. The SZ goes 240 for me but always straight with a great sound at impact. I really recommend these for folks looking for easy power and a wood that is forgiving on the fairway.
