Model Reviewed: Dynacraft PC3 11 driver and 3 wood

I went to Dyancraft to order a PC3 3 wood, and there was a special on the Driver. It came with a free PC3 shaft and headcover, and even though I was in the market for a new driver, I didn't think I would like this one. Wow, was I wrong! The 11 degree driver with the R flex shaft is a bargain that flat performs. I built it at 44", which is all I can handle, swinging at D0. I hit it just as far as any driver I have tried. More importantly, it is super forgiving. Anywhere on the face gets much better distance than I deserve. And it's just easy to hit straight with this club. The 3 wood has performed fantastic as well, mated to a Rifle 4.5 steel at 42" and D2. It is 10 yards longer than any 3 wood I have tried, including the Callaway Steelhead III it replaces, and the head design is much better from everywhere but the tee. Simply unreal clubs for very little money and a little tinkering.

Since I bought this driver I have gained at least 15-20 Yards on my Tee shots without having to make swing changes! My friends tell me that I over swing leading to all types of undesired results but with this driver my percentage of staying in and around the fairway has improved drastically.I have opted for the 'A' flex and I have gotten back to the retailer but cannot find an identical driver which I intend to keep as an alternate/spare.How disappointing.

I also fitted this club with a 46" ProForce 65 shaft, and to my surprise, the other reviews were dead on. This is one LONG and forgiving club. Because of the extra length, I went with an X-Stiff shaft and I am glad I did. I had been hitting my other driver about 240 yards on an average hit and kept it in the fairway about 40% of the time. With this new PC3, I am hitting it 260+ and am keeping it in the fairway about 2/3 of the time. That is one hell of an improvement! Out of all the drivers I have ever hit, and I have hit a lot, this is the longest and most accurate to date. There is one downside to this club, when you hit the ball, it sounds like someone just set off a fire cracker. So yes, the sound is really annoying and can disturb near by golfers. The sound does bother me, which is why I gave this club 4 stars instead of 5. It deserves 5 stars for preformance, but gets 4 overall due to the poor sound it gives off each and every hit. But with results like it has been giving me, who really cares what it sounds like!

Bought the PC3 driver from Dynacraft about 18 months ago. Fitted it with a 45.5" UST ProForce 65 - what a DRIVER!! I guess saying that I qualified for the finals of the Swedish RE/MAX Longdriving Championships with it is kind of enough huh? Drove it 305 yards into a 25-30 mph wind. Unfortunately I could not participate in the finals due to injury which was real sad considering that the guy I beat in qualifying ended up winning. This driver is an absolute beauty, and even though it looks quite a lot like the Ping it EASILY outperforms it, believe me if tried it. Long and extremely accurate. Don''t miss out on this hidden gem!

Customer Service

My uncle put this club together for so i got a discount but i love this club. im 14 and i used to drive around 220 with a taylor made titanium, i got this driver because the shaft on my taylormade was to whippy. i got a stiff "46" UST proforce shaft put in it and is it ever a great combo. i went from hitting 220 with a slice to hitting 250 consistently straight down the middle of the fairway. All those holes wheer i used to hit long irons into im hitting short irons into and making more birdies.. I''d reccommend this club to anyone. I started the year as a 22 handicap now at the end of the season im a 10 and i owe most of it to the driver. Its cheap and it out performs all those really expensive brand name drivers.(believe i''ve demoed them all)

I built the 8 degree with a UST Proforce shaft 12 months ago and after 60 rounds I still love this club. This is a Ping copy that is very forgiving and allows me to hit it high or low. I have owned numerous Callaway, Taylor Made and Mizuno drivers in the past but none are as easy to hit as this one. A great bargain at $100 for the club and shaft, but it is in my bag because it works, not because it was cheap.
