Model Reviewed: Infiniti MRG 18*

My wife wanted a ladies 4-Wood for use in between her SMT 455 driver and her Adams Tight Liest ST Women's 7-Wood.

We browsed ebay for a KZG and demo'd woods from GolfSmiths. We won a Titleist 980F 17* from ebay, but had arrived via UPS with a broken shaft. Instead of repairing that head we purchaed from our local
pro clubmaker to build a new 18* Infiniti MRG with Pure Energy graphite with an appropriate flex (Pure Energy does not label their flex on the shafts, fitting is done by frequency ratings). At 185cc head the MRG address assuringly, and strike very well.

This 185cc 18* MRG, cut to 42", hits further out than my 15* 190cc 3-wood and often, even longer, on the average (not vs. the longest, than my 10.5* 460cc driver.

I myself am tempted to sell my 975F wood and get a MRG built.

My good golf buddy says he'll get one built for himself after trying out the MRG for several holes in our last round.
