Model Reviewed: Niblick 4 & 7 Woods

I had owned Ping's ISI Tour fairway woods, which were their last real wood woods they put out. Loved them, but had tried several metal woods since and just wasn't finding what I was looking for. Decided to order a 7 wood from Louisville, the heavy sole and beautiful appearance looked like a winning combo. The 7 wood impressed me so much that 3 weeks later I ordered the 4 wood. These woods are accurate, consistent, and playable from great lies and shaggy ones. Have had them in the bag for 4 months now, a record for me when it comes to fairway woods. I think these are one of the best kept secrets out there. My only eagle this last season came from a 205 yard 7 wood shot on a par 5 that I put within 4 feet of the pin. Have had a lot of people tell me about the persimmons they used to own and how pretty they are. After they see some of the shots these Niblicks produce, I think a lot of them are thinking twice about the concept that the best fairway woods are made of metal. The Niblicks seem to achieve and optimal center of gravity for the job they are to do.

Model Reviewed: Niblik

I am new to golf, having only started this summer, but have shown a bit of talent and am in the 90's after a few games and lessons. I wanted a set of fairway woods that would be easy to control, accurate, and allow me to play the ball. I kept seeing all of these "top" players hit the ball far but with little control and I felt that I could do better with more control. Boy have the Nibliks delivered! I have the 3,5,7 wood with graphite and regular flex. I can use them on the fairway, in the rough or off the tee on shorter fairway shots. I find them easy to hit with a very nice feel. I hit them longer that ti or steel but I think that is only because they are easier to hit. I still use my Calloway Steelhead III 10 degree driver when I want a lot of distance off the tee. I do however sometimes use the Niblik 3wood if the fairway is narrow and lined by hazards. The workmanship is outstanding and after several hundred ball off the tee and rough they show no wear at all.

Model Reviewed: niblick 3, smart driver

Just bought and played a couple of rounds with louisville's smart driver 11.5*- regular flex graphite shaft and their niblick 3 wood also reg. flex graphite shaft. Just wanted to give this company props for two excellent products. The driver is a fairway hitting machine, I really have to put a bad swing on to miss a fairway. It is unbelievably forgiving and on average about 10 yards shorter than my titanium driver. The 3 wood is a real gem. I havn't missed a shot yet with this club. Distance is right on with other steelheaded or titanium fairway woods. I want fairway woods that I can control(hit fairways) and this is it. I am so impressed I will propably add their 5 and 7 woods to my bag. Aesthetically, these woods are beautiful to look at, great craftsmanship. If you are looking for woods that perform and get you results (hit fairways) than I would recommend trying these clubs-especially the niblicks. Eventually I may try some different drivers looking for more length off the tee but the fairway wood will be in my bag for a long time.
