Model Reviewed: Superstrong 4 wood, UST 65 Silver, S flex.

Having always struggled with a 3 wood off the deck I thought that the extra 2 degrees of loft might help. I was right. This club is very easy to hit from the fairway and is as long as a 3 wood.
It has a beautiful soft, 'egg-shell' type sound at impact (know what I mean?), no harsh Callaway clank/tink and feels great when you flush one.
My only problem with this club has been that when I swing too hard I tend to hit a big hook or pull hook. I think the face is slightly closed but this is actually easy to counter and by setting up with the face slightly open and committing to a full release it's easy to hit a nice little fade. An easy swing is rewarded with a controlled draw.
Great shaft, very solid. UST are superb and very underrated.
Overall a well kept secret - paid £40 for mine in a sale - you'll find them even cheaper than this on ebay.
