Nickent Golf 3DX Fairway Woods

Nickent Golf 3DX Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The stainless steel 3DX fairway wood was designed with strategically placed weight ports to move 40-grams of weight to the perimeter of the clubhead. The 3DX weight ports are weighted to increase the clubhead's MOI, and to position the center of gravity both low and deep, increasing the clubhead's forgiveness and making it easy to launch the ball from a variety of lies.

Looks like Nickent is down the tubes...

Just picked up the 3 and 4 Fairway Utility clubs on sale. These are the best "hybrids" I have ever played... the #3 has a Fuji Level 5ive, a great feeling club. The 4 has a stock UST speedrated and is a decent shaft, wish I had waited and done the Level 5ive on this one too.

Great feel, super easy to rip, good distance, less than a comparable fairway wood but a little more than the straight hybrid. And much easier to hit consistently, IMO.

I tried the TM hybrids that had offset & hooked the ball. I swore off hybrids until a friend had me try his Nickent 3DX hybrids. Good clubs. Less offset, good weighting, all good. I've got the 2 through 6 hybrids. Too bad they went out of business.

Reakky Disapointed in this hybrid. Ball flight is low. Biggest problem is there is no feedback. You can hit it good or poorly and get the same sound and feel. Just a dull thud. No real feedback.

I let other very good golfers try it at the range and they confirmed my feelings.

This club is a monster. Easy to hit off the fairway and lots of travel off the tee. It has a nice classic look and sets up nicely at address.

The club head is heavier than I expected which gives you a great deal of feedback in your back swing. It has also helped me ease the tempo of my long approach shots and let the club do the work.

Overall a great buy for the money. I would recommend this to mid-level players.

I have the 3 & 5 Nickent Golf 3DX Pro. They come with the Aldila VS Proto in Stiff. Absolutely without doubt the best looking and easy to hit fairway woods i have ever used. I have always been inconsistent with my driver, so i need a good 3 wood for those bad days. They are easy on the eye and have a nice shallow face design, which helps from tight fairways (i live in Dubai) The 5 wood has a good size head also and is very easy to hit from tee or bunkers even. $69 is all they cost brand new (rockbottomgolf.com) Headcovers are horrible though. The shaft keeps the head on line evn when you go to load it. Great work Nickent and great value for money.

this club is very easy to launch and very forgiving. the only knock for me is that the shaft is tipped soft and too weak for me to get the kind of control i was hoping for. I really go after my woods. If you swing your driver 90 to 100mph this shaft will be perfect...much faster than that and this club may offer some control issues. Picked it up for $59 new from a local shop in 2007.

After having such great luck with the 3DX hybrids my golf guy said that I should try out their fairway woods. After playing with it I can't say enough about it. Very solid feeling and playable from about any lie, very forgiving but workable. I am very confident with it off the deck in narrow fairways. I am also very pleased with how it gets the ball up in the air. Better than any I've played!!
