Nike SasQuatch SQ2 Fairway Woods

Nike SasQuatch SQ2 Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The new SasQuatch 2 Fairway Woods feature a new Monorail Sole design which cuts through all types of lies. In addition, Nike has added weight to the perimeter of the Nike PowerBow to move the center of gravity further back than the original SasQuatch Fairway Wood, which results in higher launch and greater distance. Nike tops it all off with a new Cryo Steel face for a larger and hotter sweet spot.

This is a follow up to my earlier review of the Nike SQ2 Fairway Wood. I own the 4 wood and after hitting this club for about 12 rounds I can't say enough about how nice this club plays. I hit it from the tee, fairway, and rough with excellent results. I do not use a driver, I only use the 4 wood from the tee because I hit this just as good, if not better than any driver I ever hit. I read and heard about M.O.I. and thought it was a bunch of marketing trash until I swung this club. I have swung many other clubs when I golf with friends and none compare to the SQ2. It has changed my game. I strongly reccomend giving this club a try.

Model Reviewed: Nike SQ2 4 wood

The Nike SQ2 4wood has a great feel and sets up great at address, it swings like a dream. The flat(monorail) sole allows for a very smooth swing through the ball. I went with the stiff graphite shaft 4wood
due to the 42.5 shaft length. I feel that yields me the most control for my swing. I use this as my driver, and I average about 230+ yrds with it and keep it in the short grass about 90% of the time. I get about 210+ hitting it off the deck.To give you some idea of my swing speed, I get 150 out of my 7 iron. I am far from a fast swinger, but this club feels like heaven in my hands. I chose this over the 3 wood because of the shaft length. I would probably get more yardage out of the 3 but, I would sacrafice control. I like to control the ball, and this club allows me to do that consitantly. I am not out to win a long driving contest when I golf, but I must admit, it feels good when I split the fairway and my buddies hitting drivers are having an easter egg hunt in the long grass behind me. If your thinking of buying this club I would say go for it, but always try before you buy if you can. this is one very well made club.
