I dont know about you, but finding the right 3w is one of the most difficult void for me to fill & to keep me happy long enough to keep it in the bag... For me, its the backbone in my game for length, recovery-length shot when the drive is less than ideal, and those other days when its wiser, not to use the driver at all...I live in a high altitude location, so claiming those unbelieveable distances is just moot...But what I can tell ya is what I do like about this tour model. I like the smaller head of this 3 wood, it keeps me focused is staying within my game and swing. The flight has great carry w/mid-high trajectory, its able to keep up with drivers of the other players (I kid you not)...and it does well into the wind. I havent seen such good performance since my Callaway 3w Ti Warbird. My 15* came with a stock S-90 shaft and it does very well within the swingspeed of 80-100mph. Im able to draw with ease and fade away with confidence. I am only a 85-95mph smooth swinger w/a 3/4 backswing, if I can obtain yardage w/ the driver & 3w (par 5s)in the 550s I am happy. Thanks for your time...

i love this club/ before this club i was hitting the mizuno forged 3 wd and thought i would never change/but i recently put this taylormade tour in the bag and what a difference. this club has a smaller head then the regular 3wood/ the head is titanium so the ball jumps off it/and also the club is very forgiving/ if your trying to improve your game and like taylormade than check this club out.

I don't think "waiter" was describing this club. It's the best 2/3 wood I've ever hit. It's great in heavy rough and off the tee. It can be hit high or low and shaped easily. Definitely a stroke saver.

I tried out the normal 3 wood at the local demo day, and it was okay, but i found it felt too big for me. I tried these and i was expecting to lose distance and consistency. I lost no distance at all, and if anything i can hit the ball more consistently. These are really nice clubs, especially the 13* and if it wasnt too expensive for a 16 yr old i would buy one

Great club, excellent distance and carry. Easy to hit off the deck and a comforting choice on tight or shorter fairways. A smaller, traditional head size with a solid feel when hit. I benched a Callaway Hawkeye 13 degree 3 wood for this model and have not lost any distance. The Hawkeye is a good club also, but the TaylorMade is easier for me to hit from different lies. A full, honest review of this wood should be positive for most golfers who play a few rounds with one.

Model Reviewed: 300 tour ... 13 degree strong 3

Excellent ... the previous reviewer was full of it! He claimed the head was to big and all kinds of other comments that clearly show he is not writing a truthful review. Example is claim that the head is too big ... I find very interesting since the 300 Fairway wood Tour is a small traditional shaped head. I bought the 300 13 degree strong and the 15 normal 3 wood. I will use the strong to replace my driver on those courses with tight driving holes. I am long 240+ and can work the ball with either of these models. Do yourself a favor and try these clubs at a green grass facility were you can truly appreciate the club. Taylor Made fitting accounts all will have demos of this club, TRY IT!
