Exactly like the ad, it's 20plus yds longer than the rest. The 16.5deg 4wd is a compromise between a flat hitting 3 and and loftier 5wd. This baby is probably more for the mid to low hcp player. Not all that forgiving but longer than anything else out there.

Model Reviewed: Tour Edge Exotics 15* 3 wood Regular Shaft

Haven't carried a 3 wood in years but I couldn't resist the distance tests for this one (about 25 yards further than all leading mfg at 107 swing speed). New on EBAY for $235 vs $355 to $399 in golf shops. First the good news. The claims are true. Off the tee this goes as far as my driver with a lot more accuracy and control. I replaced my driver with it for an entire round and was better off for it. It explodes off the face, has a penetraing trajectory and also produces some roll. Next, the neutral news. The regular shaft that comes with this is the stiffest regular I've ever hit. My driver swing speed is 90 mph but this trajectory is low. I feel like I have to swing faster, but my normal swing produces great results. However off the fairway I hit nothing but worm burners - LONG worm burners but not a pretty sight. I thing Tour Edge's regular flex is geared for 100 mph Swing Speeds. The head is so good I might get this reshafted & TE does offer a senior flex, which I haven't tried. The also offer an 18* 5 wood which should improve trajectory a bit. The bad news. No forgiveness. You get what you deserve. Also, I couldn't dig balls out of the rough despite the rail design.- but it might work fine for a harder swinger. This IS an outstanding club and the distance and feel are incredible, but I think a harder swinging, more accurate golfer would benefit the most from it.
