Tour Edge Exotics CB2 Fairway Woods

Tour Edge Exotics CB2 Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The Exotics CB2 hybrid is the fruit of a highly ambitious vision: to concentrate the Exotics spirit into a single high-performance hybrid model. Engineering genius and technological innovation lift the CB2 hybrid to an unprecedented level of superiority.

Sleek and powerful, the CB2 combines a forged, lightweight 15-3-3-3 beta titanium cupped face that is chemically bonded to a heavier hyper-steel body. The cold-rolled titanium cup face is computer-milled around the edge of the cup with a high precision rim. The remaining body is precision cast to include an interlocking channel. The steel body and the cupped face are Combo-Brazed or chemically treated, pressed together, and vacuum heat-cured for permanent bonding without heavy welding.

Model Reviewed: Exotics CB-2 19* hybrid

I've tried just about every hybrid on the market and have been displeased so many times that I'd given up on the thought of ever playing a hybrid until I purchased the exotics ex-1 irons. I found that I really liked these irons alot so I decided to try the driver and it just absolutely crushes the ball. Any how that's when I thought I'd give the CB-2's a chance. I've been wanting to replace my 5 wood with a hybrid but till this point haven't found anything that even come close to replacing it. Now however the CB-2 not only replaced it but far exceeded it in every way. My 5 wood was an 18* taylor made V-steel and the replacement is a 19* CB-2 hybrid that i can hit 5-10 yards further and with much more control. It also just looks so sweet at address, almost like when you set the club up behind the ball you just know you're about to hit the perfect shot. Tour Edge might not be as well known as say Titleist, callaway ,ping ect.ect. but for those of us who have taken a chance on a lesser known company get to reek the rewards of superior quality. The exotics line is for real, take a chance and give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Model Reviewed: CB-2 19* hybrid

I've tried countless hybrids in the past and could never find one that suited me until I tried the Exotics. I've since replaced my taylor made v-steel 5 wood that I thought would always be in my bag with the CB-2 hybrid. It is probably 5 to 10 yards longer at 19* and a hybrid than my 18* v-steel was and much better to control. This hybrid is so long and deadly accurate that I've been thinking of trying the 16* to see if it can take my v-steel 15* 3 wood out of my bag. At address it gives you so much confidence looking down at it knowing you are about to hit a perfect shot. Like I said earlier I'd tried many brands and none even come close to comparing with this one. Tour Edge Exotics line is the real deal. I also have their irons and driver and I can tell you they make awesome equiptment. The price is what might be considered a little on the high side for a little lesser known company but if you've got the guts to take a risk on a smaller name brand you'll find out right quick when it comes to quality and performance no-one makes anything any better. I've also started playing the tour edge milled face wedges and they are just as impressive. This company is diffinately on the rise and if they paid tour players to play their clubs like all the other big name companies do they'd be just as popular. Also they have the absoulute best warranty in the business. Lifetime!!! covers head and even shaft breaks for life. All you do is send it back and they'll fix or replace it free. If you're looking for a hybrid do yourself a favor and give the exotics a try, well for that matter if you're looking for any club you should try tour edge, you won't be disappointed.

Customer Service

Haven't used but have heard from others who have taken advantage of the lifetime warranty and sent drivers back that the shaft broke at the hosel and they said not only did they send them a brand new driver they let them change the shaft and shaft flex.
