I am a solid 14 handicap... 45 years old and can't find any consistency with my game. I have looked at these clubs but dismissed them as I knew I could never resell them.... eBay is my crutch! Literally, I have owned Cleveland hb3 and mt's... Ping i20, TM rocketballz, and settled on my favorites the old Titleist zb's.... Just this year alone. I am an 80ish mph swing speed with 5 iron. I do not carry an iron above a 5 which I hit sporadically... I hit my 7 iron 150.... My friend who is a former club maker bought the 1 iron golf system irons just to tinker with them. He then let me borrow them....
At 5'7 inches tall... All standard clubs are long and I always hit my 8 or 9 iron well.... These were all wtf less than 32.9 inches or equal to my 9 iron.... I hit them better with less effort, and no distance loss. They are deadly accurate with a good swing. And, I hit the 3 iron same distance as my 7 wood with much better accuracy. I have always played my ball in the same spot as I watch the Swing my way videos by Jack Nicklaus... So easy transition for me... The bigger grips were a bit funny at first but adapted very fast... Mentally, a short hitter I am, but who cares if I hit 5 iron or 9 iron on my approaches as it is same club.... I have spoken with Mr Lake personally (even called me back when I left a message on a weekend) and now ordering the driver and the 3 wood.... They are legit.... Wish I tried them two years ago and about 9 sets ago....

The irons are exceedingly well built and their fitting formula is spot on. No loss of distance with the "long" irons like I've heard naysayers claim. In fact, I've picked up a couple of yards with all the irons over my old set. Very playable and consistent ball striking and super accurate. I would rate these irons the best I've ever played and would recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service

I have never before dealt with any company that has the high level of customer service that 1 Iron Golf has.

Model Reviewed: Pro-Line irons #3 to LW (11 irons)

I have been playing the 1-Irons for the past nine years (driver, #3 wood, and #3 iron through LW). These are the best golf clubs I have ever played. Recently I upgraded to the 1-Iron Pro-Line (#3 through LW) and have been thoroughly impressed by the additional accuracy and precise ball striking. I still play my original 1-Iron driver and #3 wood.

For anyone who has not tried the 1 Irons I will say that you don't know what you are missing. In my case, when I first started playing them my handicap dropped by 10 strokes within the first year and has dropped by another 8 strokes over the past nine years. My new Pro-Line Irons are allowing me to drop the last few strokes from my game to become a zero handicap.

Customer Service

By far and away excellent. Anyone who says differently has not dealt with this company or their President David Lake, and is simply trying to besmirch the One Iron Golf System concept.

The consistent ball striking with these clubs is something you have to experience to believe. I hit my #3 iron with the same ball striking consistency as my #9 iron and wedges. As others have posted, fat shots and other miss-hits disappear from your game. Distance is about 3 yards farther per iron than my old irons and twice as accurate. I'd recommend these to everyone - and I have.

Customer Service

Like everyone else has posted, the customer service is far and away the best I've ever experienced. This company will bend over backwards to accommodate you.

These irons are the best thing since sliced bread. Long and straight and extremely easy to hit. Better distance than my TaylorMades and super accurate. I don't have any miss-hits anymore since changing to single-length irons where you need only one swing.

Customer Service

Fantastic. I called every day prior to ordering with numerous questions. The people I spoke with were extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. I've never dealt with a company that had this high level of customer service.

From the moment I took the clubs out of the box I was impressed. Great look, feel, and they fit me perfectly.

They play even better than they look. I hit the ball farther and extremely accurate. Miss-hits have disappeared from my game and my scores have reflected this. I will never go back to traditional irons again and I would recommend these clubs to anyone.

Customer Service

Likes most posters across the internet I found the customer service to be outstanding.

I was very interested but somewhat apprehensive about same length irons. The offer of 30 day money back guarantee was the clincher in deciding to try them. The logic behind the idea seemed sensible because in a standard wedge set all have the same length, same swing weight, etc. with exception of the SW which usually is a higher swing weight. Yet, each wedge hits the ball a different distance and the only variable is the loft. Why would this concept be any different for the rest of the irons? I received the clubs (mine are all based on the length of a standard 7 iron) I practiced with them a few times and then went to play. I have been pleasantly surprised. My launch angle has improved and I am hitting every club about the same distance as my old irons with a lot more consistency and accuracy. I expect my distance will improve the more I use and learn to trust them. The customer service is excellent and the company owner will return your calls to answer your questions. Very satisfied.

I started playing Golf at 70 years old, in March of 2014. My first 18 hole score was 145. I purchased a set of 1 Iron Clubs and Woods in April. I have shot a number 18 holes in the low 80's and one 78 before November of 2014.

Customer Service

Outstanding customer service upon ordering my set of 1 Iron Clubs and after receiving my Order. I have found the 1 Iron Club news letter exceptionally helpful.

Got a used set of 3-9 on eBay, just to try them out. The difference was immediate and dramatic. I immediately called up the company and ordered a set of woods and wedges.

I'm tall and thin. My case is a bit unusual: I've always hit long irons pretty well (I used to play a 1-iron regularly), but I've long had trouble getting enough height with my shorter irons, because trying to stay down while swinging the shorter shafts felt constricted. As a result, I avoided wedges as much as possible, and played a bump and run style, which worked pretty well most of the time, but ultimately limited my progress.

These clubs changed all that - finally my wedges feel natural, and I get the height band bite I've always wanted.

I lost a little bit of distance on my long irons, maybe 5-10 yards, but I'm way more accurate and consistent with them. A fine tradeoff, if you ask me. I just pull my 5-wood out a little more often, now.

Customer Service

Excellent. They verified that my used set from eBay was the right fit for me, then found me demo fairway woods and wedges to match it. Went out of their way to help me out despite my buying the initial set elsewhere.

The best set of irons I've ever played, and I've played all the major brands. Extremely well designed and built and great looking clubs. The feel and balance is perfect and they play even better, I get a consistent 10 yard gap between irons and hit them an average 5 yards per club farther then my old Pings.

Customer Service

The best customer service I have ever received from any retailer. They answered all of my questions (very patiently I might add) and delivered my order in record time. I would give my highest recommendation of them to anyone.
