Picked up a used set only because I wanted to try out the shaft--Nippon 104 grams. The combination of shaft and head work great for me. Good ball flight and consistant distances. Easy to hit with some workability. This set kicked my Yonex Cyberstars out of my bag.

Bought these Christmas time as they were being shifted out of shops with a good discount. To me, they're a great looking iron; the GC os were plain ugly. Was initially disappointed with the purchase, however, now I can't wipe the smile off my 'dial'. You do suffer a lot with contact out near the toe; if you can strike the ball with the sweetspot, you'll be rewarded with a soft-landing and a very pleasant sensation in your hands. Not the longest iron, but not all that far behind Cobra 2300s

I wanted to try a stiff graphite shaft, and jumped on the deal for under 200 to canada including shipping.I mean we all play graphite in the driver and woods, so why not irons? they have come a long way in making torque comparable to steel . Let's face it, graphite is the way to go.(proshopwarehouse via ebay.ca)
These clubs setup nice and feel great when you hit the sweet spot. Gives good feedback on a mis-hit, and hits 5 yards longer than my taylor made lt 2's (dg s400 shafts) the trajectory is a little higher obviously, as my dg's are a higher kickpoint and a lot heavier 130g per shaft compared to 85 g.sw is d2 on the gc mids and d3 on my tm's. I am very happy with the look, the feel and the spin of these clubs.. they play loke a players cavity especially with the thin top line and low offset. you can pick these up for a song, and you could probably sell for more if you don't like em.. I am going to get them re lofted to take the height down a bit .... 2 or 3 degrees if it can be done with these cast irons . If not, they just drop out of the sky at the target and I'm not ashamed to take an extra club if I know they will stop on a dime.

I rely heavily on the input of others when it comes to the purchase of clubs. I do not have the means to go to Golfsmith and try everyting they have to offer, only to settle on a retail price for clubs. My shopping comes from the bargain bin- a place where people write and tell me what works and what does not. What I can tell you about the Bridgestone GC is that it is a diamond in the rough. I bought mine for less than $200 and love them. I switched from forged irons to a more forgiving set, and I have added a bit of distance without penalty for the mis-hit. These irons come with the Nippon shaft, and the regular flex is stiffer than most. It is in between, for those who lose distance on stiff shafts but cannot control regular. Feel is there and the ability to shape a shot is not lost on the head design. It is possible. I recommend these irons for those who are mid cappers and want more consistency. They will not blind you with cool colors or intrinsic design. Rather, they will sit non-descript in the bag and light up the dude you are playing against. Perfect for those who want a combination of play and low profile looks.

FYI - now available new at 3balls for $150 & change w/ free shipping. (I'm not a shill, BTW.) Haven't played them yet -- going on reviews -- but like the idea of a traditional thin top line, reasonably forgiving, not overly offset iron that should match my skill level for a while. If not, for the price they'll make good weed-whackers around the yard. Giving provisional Overall Rating of 4 stars -- let you know after I hit 'em.

Although I've only had these clubs for a little while, I can honestly say I'm surprised that these aren't more popular!

Wow! My very first shot from the grass at the range(6-iron) using the crappy range balls, was like 'butta'. The rest of the clubs were the same. I finally found a new club where I din't go "darn, I was hoping these would feel better - next!"

A couple of months ago I grabbed some new Wilson Ci6's and immediately realized that I must keep going down the list to find the right clubs. [Ci6's / GC Mids / M685's / BH-5's etc.] The Ci6's were Ok, but I couldn't get used to the thicker topline and very strong lofts and the lighter feeling head. I'd rather a heavier feel to the head. The Nippon Pro 1050GH shafts are descibed like this on their site.

Everyone is looking for something different from a new club, for me the first thing is the feel and feedback from slightly off-center hits. Then I move distance and workable. These feel better than my trusty Spalding Cannons from the late 90's, but the Spalding's aren't aimed at mid-cappers.

The factory Nippon Pro shaft must have a lot to do with the feel, but the very thin topline (like the Spalding's) allows me that great, confident setup at address. I have the regular flex shafts (slower swing-speed at 43 years), but the stiff shaft might garner a few more yards, but I'm happy with the accuracy and feel.

The Bridgestone gravitiy chamber/disk technology and their choice to go with Nippon has me covered! The 'list' has been put away.

really nice midsize iron heads. was looking for something a little more workable and less "super game improvement". These clubs certainly allow more workability but are still very forgiving.

I picked them up for a steal at $160 canadian (including tax). I did end up selling them as the shaft for me was just a bit too light and flexible. the 1050gh is a flighted set of irons roughly each wieghing 105 gm. I expected something like the s300 but these are much lighter and softer. I hit the ball extremely high to begin with and these didn't seem to help that.

I found them more forgiving than the precept tour premium cb's but I did end up switching to the nickent 3dx pro club. slightly heavier shaft and similar design...jury is out on the switch so far.

overall...awesome club...worth every penny.

I have played Mizuno Comp EZ's for about the past 5 years and was very happy with them. Then, I got the bug for a new set and tried the Maltby MMB/KE4 combo set, which I really liked but...I couldn't say they were any better than the Mizunos. Then, I got a set of Dynacract Prophets, SWEET irons, but, well you know.

One day while I was working (as a starter) a member rolled up and said he'd sell me a set of Bridgestone GC Mids for a decent price. I felt kind of obligated to at least try them. WOW! these have the Nippon shafts in them and feel really smooth, almost like graphite. They also provide me with what I was looking for...on center contact.

Every iron I have ever hit, I hit toward the heel. For some reason, I hit these dead center. These are really sleepers and can be had for pretty cheap. If you ever get a chance to hit them , try it, you'll like it.

I bought this set of irons six month ago. I'm very pleased, the feel of the irons i perfect just the way i like it.

My hight of the strokes is good sometimes a little to high, but my coache and I i trying to correct this..

I have a little problem hitting the 3-iron, but i more likely because it's 3-iron than this 3-iron :)

I can totally recommend this irons, i'm a shopper so i will always look for new irons, to see which posibilities I have.

I choose those iron instead of Cleveland CG4.
