Wow! These are better than I imagined they could be. They're very soft, very solid and so easy to hit. Set up is just like a blade - small clubhead, thin topline, very low offset, shiny chrome. They're absolutely beautiful clubs. They provide a tad extra forgiveness over muscle backs, but seem to offer all the workability and control. Maybe the best clubs I've ever hit. Maybe.

These are great irons. They look great and I was amazed at how easy they are to hit for forge clubs. I find myself making a smoother and more consistent swing. This is the first set of clubs that I could actually hit the long irons.

I have to be honest...I would have never purchased a forge set of clubs because of the difficulty in hitting them....but in golf you need a little luck.....My luck was winning the contest and finding the perfect set of irons

Thes clubs are the sweetest ever. they have amazing soft feel and probably ar ethe prettiest clubs ever made. I hit them real high (i hit everything high) but i can hit a "stinger" that goes real low. have an amazing amout of spin. pretty fogiving to. barely any offset. the 2 iron has 2 millimeters of offset according to Precept. Thats how bladelike they are. I love baldes though so thats perfect for me. All of my friends love these clubs. for the price i paid ($300 for 2-SW w/4 dozen Tour Premium golf balls) it was like a steal. Stuart applbey playes these irons and also helped desigen these irons. i dont think i will ever give up these irons unless precept makes another forged iron. The sand wedge is also sweet. I love precept! every thing they make is awesome. look out for the Precept Tour Premium LS golf ball coming out this fall.

I found a 2nd hand set of these clubs at a local golfstore after trying out a large number of clubs and not finding "the one". As an improving golfer I was looking for a more serious club than my TM Burner oversize with Bubble shafts. Shafted with Rifle 6.0 shafts and Lambkin grips I took them out to the course and onto the range. Appearance wise you would be hard pressed to find a better looking set of clubs. They look absolutely stunning - a muscle-back with very serious lines.

On the course my first shot ever with these clubs was a long 3 iron draw off the tee. I thought that I would have trouble on the longer clubs with the lack of offset but these clubs play a lot easier than you would think. They are quite heavy (particularly compared to my old clubs) but this seems to stabilise the head though the swing - an even tempo/downswing give the best results. The shorter clubs also give a nice penetrating ball flight. Knockdown shots and working the ball are easy with these clubs - they give me a lot of confidence over the ball. They are also quite forgiving on slightly duffed shots - hitting it thin loses you maybe 10% of the regular distance. They also have a much more forgiving and lively feel over the Titleist 990 - the closest in design to these clubs.

In short these clubs have amazing feel - the soft forged steel and muscleback see to that - with great feedback and workability and more forgiveness than you would have thought.
