I'm 63 years old and I love changing clubs. I bought these irons December 2012 on EBAY for $135.00. I have played with them twice and I cannot imagine changing anytime soon. Each club is solid, straight and longer by 10 yards per club. 5 out of 5.......

Shot a 78 my first time out with these. Can't think of any reason why any other club would be better. I play rarely and need all the forgiveness these provide.

The year is 2012 and I bought these '06 brand new from a major retailer.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CLUB I HAVE SWUNG. Very forgiving to hit, and I get extra distance on every shot. 10 out of 10

I moved from a set of Cleveland TA 5 graphite stiff flex to Callaway 2006 in graphite regular shaft this past year. I can hit the short irons with fairly good accuracy. Easy to hit and very easy on the hands if you miss hit a shot. Problem is I can never seem to have a consistent game with these clubs. I have since returned to Ben Hogan BH-5, yes old clubs, and once again gained consistency. Not sure if it’s the steel versus the graphite shaft. I would recommend these clubs for beginners but not for a golfer that can consistently shoot in the 80’s. Certainly game improvement irons but makes it a bit of a challenge to play with the wide sole. They are hard to hit off a hard pan and but fairly easy to hit from deep rough. I believe they would be much better irons without the thick wide sole.

Awesome!! It took a couple of rounds and a trips to the range to get used to them because the less you try to hit them a long way, the longer (and staighter) they go. I have almost completely eliminated shanks into the woods or on the wrong fairway, which I was guilty of quite often when I was going for extra distance. I have been playing a lot more which I am sure has just as much to do with my improvement, but even when I first got them it seemed like I didn't have to try as hard to make a good shot. And they look sweet, I thoroughly clean my clubs after every round to keep them happy, and this is coming from a guy who washes his car once after winter.

wow. over and over i read not to get better clubs until you learn how to play better. i firmly disagree, thanks to these gems! these VERY forgiving clubs helps the beginner gain confidence. they look and feel great, and the Big Bertha 07 460 driver matches up perfectly with the set.

Cons- you will sacrifice distance with the clubs (but i'll take accuracy over distance any day)
