I have never cared much for Callaway irons until I picked these up for next to nothing. I love the profile and small head and are they sweet to hit. the Memphis 10 shaft's work very well for me. They are not very forgiving but when hit pure they go. I hit my 3 iron 225 and it was love after that. Sweet players clubs. I intend to find a second set.

These are the old reliable clubs to go to, I don't know why I can always come back to these , but they always seem to work for me. Will never give these up.

my first name brand set. never should have sold them. if you have a set u want to get rid of send me an email. great feel. ive hit almost ever callaway made and the only two that dont seem bulky and distracting to me are these and the x tour. these have a nice topline, set up so well, the two iron was my best friend, 240 dead strait. i wish they would have stayed more along the lines of this design instead of the dish on a shaft big berthas. these clubs get the ball up so easy and are so easy to control ball flight, high, low, chip, draw, fade, what ever. i bought into the newer and better mentality and now im looking to go back. seriously send me an email if you want to sell a set of these maxeoli@email.ecok.edu

These were my first quality golf clubs. They aren't easy to hit for players that don't make solid contact consistently. When hit solidly they are as nice as anything I have played. It took a couple years to get used to the smaller head but the head size improved my game. I still occasionally hit the 5 and 7 irons on the range to groove my swing when it gets sloppy.

I actually miss the Memphis 10 shafts. They were great in those heads. The smoother the swing the farther the ball would fly. I have had DG S300, DG Sensicore shafts, and Rifle shafts but none were as nice as the Memphis 10.

I actually hit these irons farther than I do my Titleist DCI 962 irons. The grooves of my S2H2 irons are starting to wear down but they are still a solid set of irons.

Ok,

Here's the deal yet again. I recently posted a review on a set of Hawkeye Ti irons I purchased and elluded to my first love; the S2H2 clubs. Well, they are awesome if I must say so myself!

Yes, the head design is smaller and therefore the sweet spot is smaller. All the more reason why I learned the correct golf swing with these and other clubs are even easier to hit! Now, I am not suggesting someone just learning the game go and get these clubs; or any other blade or blade-like iron to harness the lovely art of the "golf swing". But I will say that once the fundamentals are in place; you know alignment, posture, swing plane and tempo, club head size, offset and all those other mental distractions people get caught up in won't matter. Why? Simple, the fundamental golf swing does not change.

Needless to say, my S2H2 bag consist of the 454 driver 10dg, GBB driver 8.5dg, warbird driver 9dg, and warbird 4 wood. Down wind, into the wind, cross wind, dog leg, bring it on! 89 or better here I come.

Good luck and keep it in the short grass!

These are elegant little irons made for the better player,if you shoot in the 90's dont bother picking these up.These irons are old they have been out about 15 or 16 yrs.

I have owned a set of these since 1991 and have not found a sweeter or better feeling iron than these but not for the lack of trying.I have purchased a set of X-16's,Taylormade R7CGB's,and Ping I5's and returned them all only to go back to my old S2H2's.

If you like the look and feel of a blade and the hitability of perimiter weighted clubs you would love these.Being these irons are 15 yrs old they are way under the radar now,but I believe if Callaway re introduced these they would have great success.

These irons are also long and have great workablity.Like I said before if you are a high handicapper don't bother with these but if you are a good ball stricker go ahead I dare you to find a set of these clubs and play a few rounds with them, you just might be selling the clubs you have now to get back to the real feel of hitting a golf ball.

I was given these clubs as hand-me-downs. I have played them with some success, but i must say that they are not very forgiving. There is little to no sweet spot on these clubs. I actually am growing to hate them. I have since bought some x-18s but havent hit them yet. Distance control is not an issue with the S2H2's but i dont think they are as long as some of the newer clubs out there.

Ill give it a good value rating because they were free to me and most people can find these for cheap online.

But, as a club they just arent well suited for me. Not forgiving enough and not as long as others.
