I just bought a set of cleveland Ta2 irons and I haven't played these clubs on the course yet but I have hit a couple of buckets and they are very pure, I had a set of ben hogan cavity backs and I hit them so high now with these I have a nice low piercing ball flight. I got them from the roger dunn in santa ana for 99 dollars after my trade in.

Customer Service

If anyone lives in southern california and needs golf equipment roger dunn in santa ana is the place to go they have everything I'm left handed and they have a decent selection but right handed is unlimited with great prices on used clubs and are willing to work with you on the price.

i got these clubs after trying them from my friends bag. i needed something workable but forgiving. these clubs fit perfectly to my style of play. i shoot in the mid 60's to low 70's as a teenager, so these clubs hit the jackpot. i dont plan on buying another set, ever!

Decided to turn in my Mizuno blades for something a little more forgiving. Found these used at a proshop and demo'd them. I tend to hit the ball high on the face and lose 1 club of distance consistantly. These are very forgiving, heavy irons. Mis-hits are a thing of the past now. They produce a high rate of spin. Now every iron shot feels solid instead of 5 or 6 decent iron shots a game. The only drawback is that they are not as workable as my blades. Draws and fades are 5 - 10 yards instead of 10 - 15 yards. The club 'smooths' out imperfect swings. Thin top line and classic old school framing of the ball at address. These are now in my bag to stay.

Very nice. I'm able to control the ball flight better than any club I've hit, and they feel great. I've hit the Mizuno MP52's as demos because I really wanted them, and the TA2's feel just as good. So I'm sticking with them. To boot, I got them for $125 at GolfSmith with brand new grips.

I've looked around for new clubs, especially with my 'new' swing after my surgeries. I'm not hitting them as far, but I'm not finding new distance with any new clubs. As for feel, I still like the TA2. I don't know why, I like the weight, even though most clubs are D2. I've recently tried the TM R7 TP, but found them too light, not enough feel. I'm hitting my 7 iron around 160 now vs 165 before. I've decide to keep them and perhaps find another pair with a different shaft. It still feels good on contact

I've owned the Clevelnad Tour Action 2 irons for one season. I've played 20 rounds with them. My 3 - PW set has G.A.T. regular flex shafts. By the way, I'm a lefty. I bought these clubs after growing frustrated with my 15 year old Ping Eye 2 irons with steel shafts. I do hit the Tour action irons farther than the Pings. I do think that the Tour Action clubs are more forgiving than the Pings when I mis-hit. I think that I can NOT carve out a shot as well with the Tour Action. The Tour Action shots seem to be more generic no matter how I change swing technique. These Cleveland clubs & lots of range practice have lowered my handicap by 3 strokes.

Bought this set on e-bay. Brand new. $200. Yes I stole them! What customer service?

I love these irons. I play of a 3.1 index on a 138 slope private course.

I have tried (for the last time) the Callaway x20 tour irons and found them to be clunky shovels, with no feel, too much offset and those Project X shafts which I absolutely detest.

Tour, my foot.

I played the Mizuno MP 30's and the Titleist 681 limited editions blades for numerous seasons while dabbling with other clubs here and there.

Got these sticks via 3balls.com through eBay for $135. Great, and I do mean pin seeking great sticks.

I strayed away from Cleveland for a few years. What was I doing?????

My loyalty has returned. These guys just know how to make a club for my game. Little if no offset, just a touch of forgiveness, and I Can do what I want with these sticks, and they feel great.

The CG2 are also quite nice and are my second set of irons.

Today's round of 1 over had me closer to the stick in that 10 foot zone and 4 times within 3 feet than I have been in a long time. 4 birdies.

Oddly enough, I still cannot put their wedges in my bag. The company that is known for wedges leaves me cold but their irons turn my crank. Imagine that!

Shoots in the 70s

When i play golf i am usually in the low 80s mid-high 70s. I have had the ta2s for just this year and really liked them. the only problem i have with them is that when i try to draw or fade it doesnt do as i intend. I shoot my scores solely on my ball striking and these just will not putt within 15ft from the pin with the 3-5. So i recently went on ebay and some how got mp32s for 70$. I have played them once and for the first time shot under par 69. all in all these are good for players who need a bit of forgivness but they just werent for me.

I'm a 7 handicap who shoots consistenly in the very low 80's and upper 70's on occasion. These clubs are pure when struck well. They provide instant feedback. Working the ball is very easy. The lofts are a bit strong.. i.e. 46degree PW so they play a bit longer for me. When my game is on and my swing is in the groove along with complete focus, these clubs are money everytime. A little bit of lazyness creeps into the scene and any loss of focus results in instant death as these clubs will not allow for mis-hits. They require commitment to every shot and a finished move through the ball. When I'm on.... I love them. If my game has been on the rack with little practice, it gets frustrating.

These clubs are great for anybody with a mid-low handicap and that are looking for great workability and mid forgiveness. I recently bought the taylormade R7 Draw irons thinking that I needed some wide soles for my swing (That couldn't hit irons)... So, 3 days later my dad brought these cleveland ta2 irons home and i played one round with them, then knew they were for me. They lowered my score 5 strokes average and I had LESS mis hits then my former widesole. They just bounce the ball off the face giving me 15 yrds more than normal. Great value, great clubs.
