Here we go yall! I have been playing golf for almost 7 years now and have become a fairly good golfer. Up until yesterday, I always played CLONE golf clubs. I did this because when I was younger, a certain man made an impression on me that clones played just as well as brand name clubs at more than half the price. I now had gotten to a point where I was no longer able to excel in my game. I did some searching and bought a brand new set of Cobra 3100 I/H on Ebay for $229 shipped. That was really branching out for me. With my self-confidence at a HIGH, yesterday I managed to shoot even par on the front and 3 over on the back. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE IN MY LIFE. My golfing buddies couldnt believe it. I was incredibly accurate and even backed the ball up a couple of times. I have the Nippon steel stiff shafts and they are incredible. Up until yesterday I usually would shoot in the mid to high 80's and low 90's. Yesterday I shot a 75 (par 72) and then I played an extra 9 and shot a 37. Maybe it was because of my self-confidence that I shot that good or maybe not. We will find out soon if it is me or the clubs! People, you have got to try these clubs...especially for the price!

Just bought a discounted set of the Cobra 3100 irons, steel shafts, 5 to SW at £199.99 Excellent price. Tried other major manufacturers OEM clubs but the Cobras were the best.

I have gone through several sets of irons in the last few years and my primary set was a custom made KZG EL/250 irons. Rifle shafts. These were made by a member of the PCS (Prof. Clubmakers Society) Paid quite a bit of money for this set and my local pro. thought they were overpriced. Cheap heads and heavy shafts, and not really suited to me.

Tried the 6 iron of the Cobra on the range and BOOM off it went, way in excess of 170 yards, bounced up the hill and over the 200 yard marker. I just could not believe it. My normal with the 6 was around 150 yards.

Up the range today with a few others and they all appear to strike true and straight. Yes I did hit a few duffers but what can you expect with new clubs. These duffers were mainly because I was getting carried away and trying to hit the ball further and further.

Up the park with the dog this evening, taking the SW, my normal around 60 yards, the Cobra well in excess of this, I had to face into the park as I was running out of distance. Even pattern and distance

These clubs strike smooth and when one swings steadily with no real effort off they go. I am playing in a comp. on Monday so lets see how we get on - cannot wait to get out.

Ps I am 64 years of age and a senior member at my club ( Have the Cobra M Speed Driver 10.5 regular shaft - Fantastic)

Customer Service

Local pro shop excellent - One of the old school, Straight talk with no sales pitch. Plenty of time given to me in making a choice, no pressure. Clubs sold themselves.

I have been golfing for about a year now. My first set of irons were taylormade 300's, and I bought my set of cobra 3100's because I had problems getting the ball airborn. I went from shooting in the 120s to consistently shoot in the 90s (even shot in the 80s twice). There are a few things I love about these irons: 1. they are very forgiving 2. they launch the ball high 3. they are a great bargain (esp on ebay) and 4. they are beautiful clubs and instill confidence at address. These irons are made for the mid to high handicapper, so if you are a beginner, or just struggling to get the ball up, I'd say to try these clubs out.

I have upgraded to cobra 3100 I/H from oversized II irons. While I find the 3100s forgiving, I have noticed that I have lost quite a bit of distance. This can be attributed to the high-trajectory feature of the 3100s. I have tried many things to offset this including de-lofting the clubs to no avail. I have now gone back to my oversized II while I wait for my MP-37 to arrive.

Ive tried Mizuno 33 blades, Hogan apex plus but needed a bit of cavity back to assure consistant swing. I love the Cobra 3100s- have had a couple scores in the 70s- Im normally a 12 handicap. They launch ball especially high- instead of hitting 7 iron from 150 have been using an 8 or 9. my only complaint is these clubs are less than 1 month old and are getting scratches on bottom.

I had been playing Ping G2’s for the last couple of years and was looking to purchase a set of the new G5’s when I picked up the 3100 I/H’s on eBay for around $200 – having sold my G2’s, I figured that I would just hit the Cobra’s until I got the Pings. The 3100’s felt good the first time I hit them – soft and straight, after six months they are still in my bag.

I’ve since demo’ed the Pings G5’s, Mizuno MX-900s, Nike Slingshot OSS’s and TM RAC CGB; they were all ok irons but I’ve decided to stick with 3100’s – they just feel better overall and work for me. Best of all you can't beat the price for such a great product.

I just purchased the Cobra 3100 irons on close-out for $599 Canadian at Golf Town. They came with the Nippon steel Regular shaft. Over the past two years or so I have bought many irons sets, searching for the Holy Grail: MacGregor 1025CM, Hogan Edge Pro, TM Rac LT, X-16 Pro, Cleveland TA7, Mizuno MP 60. Actually, it's a little embarrassing to tally up the money I've spent on irons. Anyway, I rate the Cobras highest of all. Fantastic feel, very forgiving, and excellent for chipping around the green. Longer than any previous set, fun to hit, and very accurate. These are in the bag to stay!

When it came time to buy a new set of irons for me last year I decided to research several different comparable irons from company's such as Nike, Callaway, Titleist, and Cobra. I found a lot of useful reviews by other golfers on the internet and would strongly recommend that everyone write reviews on their equipment. After researching the Cobra 3100/i I found a lot of excellent opinions as well as my local pro recomended them as well. I've been playing with them about 6 months and they are an excellent iron to use. Very forgiving and easy to use I would highly recomend them . I am exceptional happy wiith my decision.

Magic! These things are like cheating.I have never played a better, easier to hit, and more accurate iron. Obviously, you still have to hit the ball correctly, but they are so good, and so forgiving, there are few peers as far as I'm concerned. I just switched from a set of Wilson FatShaft 3's, and did some comparison against other brands, and even the Cobra SSI irons, and none of them could come even close to the 3100's. The SSi models were similar, but not as good, a solid step down. No other club was close, even a custom made set of Callaway Big Berthas I tried. These 3100's have a nice soft feel, are straight as an arrow, you can still shape shots when desired, and the flight is exactly as you would hope for. Dropping balls on the green and having them stick is so easy, you feel like the guys you see on television. As easy as they are to use, I would recommend them to about any skill level. A bonus is their cost. Other makers charge several hundred dollars for their top rated sticks, but these went out the door, custom fit and all, for $400.00. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them, and recommend them very highly. My first round was 2 weeks ago, dead of winter, and my score was a 36 for the front 9. Excellent for this time of year, and a lucky break to get out at all here in Michigan. Distance? My usual 6 iron with the FatShafts was on 2 par 3's. With the 3100's, I had to drop down to a 7 iron because the 6 would go over the green. A 7 put it pin high. No problem with distance with the 3100's. If you're in the market for a new set of irons, definitely give these 3100's a try, you will surely be well impressed.

Customer Service

Have not had to use factory service, but Golf Galaxy, where I purchased them, was quite good, and their fitting came in the deal.

Well, I've played several rounds, and I'm ready to write an updated review. The first half a dozen rounds I played were atrocious. I'm talking 110s. I made a few swing adjustments, and these irons are really starting to perform. I don't know if it's because these are irons are I/H as opposed to the 3400 I/XH (XH = extra high?), but when struck correctly they have a pretty low, boring trajectory. And the spin I'm getting with these irons is nuts! I'm dropping and stopping 7-irons and backing up 9-irons. I've never been a big spinner of the golf ball. It took me awhile to get used to the thick top line of these irons. It makes you feel like you're swinging a shovel. But what I love about these irons is how little effort you have to put into them to see great results. I'll keep these irons for a LONG time.
