These irons are the absolute best. I can work them right or left, distance is very consistent, very responsive, great feel, fairly forgiving for player irons. Anyone who is a single handicap or better should give these a try, especially at the bargain you can get them at.

First of all the mere fact I writing this review say something about these clubs. I purchase the Carbon CB with the project X 5.5 shaft. I took them out on the driving range to get used to the shaft because I have been using DGS300. On the range I had a little trouble connecting. So at this point I thought I have made a mistake. Then a few days later I took them out on the course. I don't know what happen but on the course these irons felt and hit as good as any irons I had before.
This also happen the next time I was on the course. These irons feel like butter at impact and they are longer than the Cleveland TA3 I play with. I made a good decision with these irons.

Beautiful clubs. Appearance of a blade, but slight cavity offers significant forgiveness. Very straight but can also work the ball. Very sweet with center face contact. I love these clubs!!

These clubs look beautiful. Some of the nicest looking clubs in the league, that being said I have a decent swing and I struggled with these clubs from day one nothing but a heavy draw. Probably siuted for the golfer in the 70,s i guess.

These irons are very nice been playin them for a year now and they have inproved my game the only problem i have is the horble grips Cobra puts on these irons. These irons are supposed to player clubs and they come with realy cheap grips. as for club them selvs very pleasing to the eye at address and good trajectory. I was very impressed with these irons comming from a company thats not known for there high end player type clubs i was surpised on how they felt and the look of them from the back.

There are reasons these irons won out over the other name brand irons in the 2007 iron contest, for better player's catagory (see golf.com): they're excellent. In many ways.
#1 Solid Straight - you can work them if need be, but they tend to hang straight where you're aiming, which is good for mis-hits, slight or not. #2 Nice trajectory - they don't go too high, nor balloon which was my pre-purchase concern, and the long irons are about as easy as a hybrid IMHO, but more accurate. #3 They go through rough well, unlike blades. #4 Forgiveness - plenty. See #1. #5 Less expensive. #6 Set up great.
Cobra has a winner alright and for all player levels.

My short game is always better than my putting and diver until I bought a used F-Speed 460 from the internet auction at a super discount and tried out the player's club from Cobra and I fell in love with the brand. You can read about my Cobra F-speed driver review in the other link but what's important is after I know Cobra makes such fine player's club I decided to look for the Cobra irons.
After searching for used Cobra clubs for a while, I finally found the used club store here at my place that has a set of 3-PW Cobra Carbon CB for sale and it is the right shaft tyoe for me too. I quickly went over to the shop on the weekend and traded in my TaylorMade RAC TP Forged iron set with some other drivers and wedges to exchange of this set. After that I tried the Cobra Carbon CB out at the range and I have confirmed I have finally found my perfect clubs (I was using the Mizuno MX-23 and it was a fine set as well).
The Cobar carbon CB are slightly longer than my Mizuno MX-23 but the lie is just right for me at address. I was a little worried about the long irons until I tried out the 3 iron and it hits the ball with such good forgiveness even when it look so thin in the sole.
I must say with the Cobra Carbon CB my irons gain some distance since the loft is slightly steeper. With PW I can get more than 120 yds when compare to my Mizuno MX-23 I usually get only 110yds with PW.
The NSPRO900XH regular shaft is terrfic and they are lighter than the NSPRO950GH I have on my Mizuno MX-23 (which is also a terrfic player's club). I play around the 90's and I am improving in my game, with the Cobra Carbob CB I think they will help me greatly.
I am now revamping my golf bag to accomodate to the Cobra driver and iron set. I am looking at a mixture of Titleist and Cobra clubs since they are both from the same comapny.
My ideal golf bag set will be as follows:
1. Driver - Cobra F-Speed 10.5
2. Titleist - 904 18deg (still looking for this club)
3. Iron Set - Cobra Carbon CB 3i-PW
4. Wedges - Titleist Vokey Design, 54 SW and 60 LW, maybe a 50 AW
5. Titleist bullseye putter
