I have owned the PC3s for 11 years. Every few years I get a wild hair to try something different. Just recently purchased the Ping I3s in mint condition. Played about a half a dozen times with the Pings. Have also played Taylor Made, Berthas, and Prophet Tours. I'm back to the PC3s. I use the stiff sensa-core shafts in them. Not sure I'll find a club I like more than the PC3s. Except for the plastic insert in the back of the club they still look as good as the day I bought them. Just my 2 cents.

i play with pc3 irons and have since i built them over ten years ago. i have change the shafts often just for the sake of it - i have not found any head that plays as well - the nearest were ping zing- but i had to move the ball back in my stance to allow for offset.
club manufacturers are stupid! why change a proven design - oh by the the way - ilost my 7 iron - anybody got one?

I built myself a set of these in 4 thru PW. I used the True Temper TX-90 shafts and put on some Winn V17 grips. These things are bullet proof. Nice high trajectory that doesnt balloon and have great distance. These are not clubs that you want if you want to work the ball into tight pins. But if you are looking for a set of stupid easy to hit irons that you can fire at the center of the green or to a tight pin that you dont have to work the ball to get to, then these are a good set to have. These are irons that are inspired by the Ping G2's. I have hit both side by side and cant justify the added cost of the G2's over these.

If you want a blade that plays like a game improvement club, then the PC3 Iron fits the bill. Good feel, distance, and easy to shape your shots. Assembled on 6.0 Rifle shafts, I found them comparable to the Ping I3 without the required investment. I have played over 180 rounds with these clubs and they look like new (covered and cleaned after each round). Definitely a players club, and one of the best component clubs on the market.

What an improvement!! They feel very solid, contact always seems crisp and the ball really goes. My shots are straighter than before and I have a much more consistent flight path. I have T300 Dynamic shafts. I am very happy with these clubs. I have only played 5 rounds with them but I can already notice a big improvement.

Customer Service

Great. I they took my height, swing speed, lie angle and grip size. Clubs were ready in a week.

I had some really really cheap clubs before that weren't stiff enough, creating a lot of nasty hooks and slices. I have tried mizuno, titleist and taylor made clubs at the range.

I recently had a set of PC3's made for me. 2 inches long and 5 degree up right with TT Custom Lite shafts. Wow! This is a beautiful combination. These clubs feel and play as good as the look. I have tried I3's and don not seet $ 400 dollars difference. Golf to fit does a wondrful job and Fred is a very nice guy. It was on his suggestion I give them a try and I'm glad I did. If you are looking for a custom maker and a great stick the PC3 are just the ticket. By the way I was hitting my L wedge 100 yards all afternoon

Customer Service

Great! A professional who has great pride in his workmanship.

After years of competitive golf as a professional (club level only) and amateur, I decided to have TWO sets of component irons made at the same time: First the Dynacraft PC3 w/ Rifle Lite 6.0, and the second is Vulcan VX Tour w/ the exact same shaft. I have both sets and have bent both to the exact same loft specs (20* 3 iron through 50* Gap Wedge). So far I can say that component iron heads are every bit as good as OEM products. These are better, because the local clubfitter has bent each club to the proper lie angle (individually hit and bent each iron). I was disappointed that the PC3 lies and lofts were off from their standard specs by more than 1* in some cases. Both sets are wonderful - distance is identical, although the Vulcans fly a bit lower, as expected. The PC3s are great, however, I don't get much of a "great shot" feel when I hit one pure. The ball flight is high and soft, which is fine. Mis-hits respond as well as any other club (except Hawkeye VFTs, which are the most forgiving iron on the planet, if you can stand the lack of feel and distance control). So far I am pleased but not astonished by the PC3s performance. I must note though, that when compared to the similar Ping iron, I like the Dynacrafts every bit as much - and ultimately moreso considering they are half the price. If you are looking for an I3 Blade look and feel, the PC3s are a great investment!

Customer Service

Dynacraft has been helpful thus far. Three of the shafts I ordered were damaged, and they sent replacements immediately, although I was charged for them and will be credited when the damaged shafts ge

My main set of clubs is a custom set of Ping I3 O-Size. However, they are in Phoenix at the moment, so I decided to get an inexpensive set of component clubs and build a 2nd set for when I am in Chicago. I mainly picked the PC3 irons because I need upright irons and these irons came +3 degrees upright. When I got them, I noticed they didn''t have a lot of offset and also said "Blade" on them. This worried me at first because I am not a great golfer and control is one of my biggest problems. I tend to slice the ball and feared these clubs might make that worse. My fears were laid to rest the first time I took these clubs to a driving range. Not only did these clubs have a great feel, they were very forgiving, even more so than my Pings! I was surprised how much they did feel like my Pings. Granted I am not a great golfer and probably couldn''t tell subtle differences in clubs, but the overall feel of these clubs were very similar to my Pings. I was also surprised about how truly forgiving they were, especially for a club labeled as a "blade". My balls were going very straight, even when I was mis-hitting them. Yes, I still hooked a few balls on bad mis-hits, but that is an improvement since I normally slice the ball. In fact, I only ever got a slight fade, no slices! The only downside to these clubs is you can really feel it when you mis-hit the ball. The clubs do give a lot of feedback. I don''t get that feeling from my Pings, but that''s probably because my Pings have Sensicore type shafts and these don''t. However, when hit right, I have never felt a softer club than these, my Pings included. I am not going to trade in my Pings as my main set, spent too much money on them already. However, if I had not already bought them, I would probably save the money and went with these instead! These clubs make a great 2nd set or primary set for those on a tight budget.

Just a great, solid feeling iron. These clubs deliver whatever shot you give them (fade, draw, knockdown, etc.) with ease. I assembled w/Rifle Tour Flighted shafts(5.0 flex). Order 3 gegree flat which fit me perfect.Great looking clubs at address with thinner topline and not a massive head. Seem to deliver adequate amount of forgiveness as well. This sure beats paying $7-800 for a great quality set.

Didn''t need - as previous poster said, these are pretty much "idiot proof" to assemble

Wow. All I can say is "Wow". After battling to make progress on my game (only been playing 9 months), I decided to cop-out and "blame the tools" and give building a set of clubs a go. I cribbed the measurements from the fitting page on the PING website, as I''m quite tall and battle with my standard length and lie Wilsons, and put these babies together in 2 evenings, no problems. Hit the course this morning without even taking them to the range, and they handled beautifully. It was awesome playing a round without having to aim 15 degrees left on every shot to allow for my slice. With these babies, I just lined it up and took the shot, down the middle every time. Well, mostly! I assembled them with True Temper TT Lite XL shafts, with some DIY drinking straw and insulation foam strip "sensicore"-type shaft inserts. The result is a totally smooth impact, even on the mis-hits the extra mass of the clubhead keeps it on target and the insert absorbs nearly all of the bone-jarring impact. A note to anyone looking to experiment with club set-up and build their own set, the PC3''s are pretty-much idiot proof and for the total newbie (like me), these heads do not require a ferrule, so it makes assembly a lot easier. And the range of lie angles make these a great first set to build. The only problem I found, it could just be me settling into the set, was that the bounce angle on the pitching wedge seemed a bit large at 12 degrees. I also built a Dynacraft Tour Series gap wedge and found that a lot easier to use from just off the green.

Customer Service

The guys here in the UK were really helpful, I had a few queries relating to the order and they called me right back with the details.
