GigaGolf Pursuit c510 Forged Cavity Irons

GigaGolf Pursuit c510 Forged Cavity Irons

DESCRIPTION

I bought these irons to replace my Ben Hogan bh5s. I've never owned an expensive set of clubs and didn't want to spend tons of money and find out I didn't like them. Anyway, I ordered these from their website where you can customize the clubs as you purchase them. What's better is the clubs can be purchased individually. At a great price I got clubs fitted and delivered within a week.

But how do they play? I've been playing regulary for 6 years and these are easily the best irons I've played. My mishits are actually way better than they've ever been. I can draw the ball a lot easier than before. I still have trouble with my fades but that's me, not the clubs.

If you're looking for an inexpensive set of forged cavity irons, Pursuit c510s are a great choice!

Model Reviewed: TRX KC2 Power Max

I bought these Power Max irons off of GigaGolf's pre-owned section as my 20 year old Wilson irons were well past their playing prime. First thing I noticed is the irons were a lot more sleek and eye-catching than my old Wilsons to be sure. The next thing I noticed after I took them to the range was how forgiving they were. With the Wilsons, if you didn't hit it right on the sweet spot 1) your hands would be in for a stinging 2) the ball didn't go anywhere near where you were aiming. The Power-max let you alomst "fire and forget." They are very user-friendly and immediately gave me more confidence for my iron play. Additionally, I have honestly gained a at least one club length across my irons. With a perfect hit on my Wilsons, I could get the 6 iron maybe 160-165 depending on the time of year. With my Power-Max, even mis-hits go 160 and a clean hit goes 175. The balance on them are really nice and I have no problem pulling off a timely fade or draw on demand. For the 50 I paid for this set, I have already knocked a couple strokes off my handicap. Definitely a nice set of irons for a mid-capper like myself.

Customer Service

GigaGolf hadas a very easy to navigate website. They also have a friendly and knowledgeable staff that shipped the product out very quickly. I was also nice that they sent out a follow-up email to make sure I had received it. I have no complaints.
