Golf Smith Tour Cavity Irons

Golf Smith Tour Cavity Irons

DESCRIPTION

From GolfSmith: "The Tour Cavity is favored by better players over the pronounced offset and thick toplines of many irons. The Cavity ensures a solid feel on shots hit on-center, but still allows the perimeter weighting to do its job of reducing vibration on off-center hits."

I love these irons. I have dynamic gold s300 shafts and tour wrap grips. I got them custom fitted and they really helped my game. The only clubs i can really say that have done that. They have a great set up and less off set than the titleist dcis. They offer great response to the ball and are great to work the ball. If your a 15 or lower handicap and have the chance, buy them. Get them custom fitted though, it makes all the difference in the world.

Using 1-LW, I built the clubs from scratch with FM precision shafts (steel). I figured I would build a club to the level of play I want to be at, it is working. Initially my scores were 10-13 higher than my normal, but after a couple of weeks I have gone below my original scores. These clubs let me know EXACTLY how I hit the ball before I ever see it in the air (or not in the air). This is great feedback I have used to improve my game. I would recomend them to anyone who wants to get better!

These irons are sweet. I just recently acquired these so I am still learning how to hit with them. I can tell you though that these are very good irons. Sets up well behind the ball. Immediate feedback on well struck shots (and not so well struck shots). Shafted with TT X100 shafts so I might have to re-shaft with S300 or even R300 for better control and distance.

IMHO these irons are equal to OEM equipment out there.

For the price I paid for them I can even afford some lessons to improve my game.
