like most of the reviewer on this site i am a research nut. so when i buy things i research it to death. before i bought these irons i asked and read everything twice before i bought them. now these irons are butter. suprisingly these irons are forgiving enough for everyone to play them. my only gripe is that the irons didnt come with rifle shafts like i thought they did. i took them to my local pro Doug Lemons at percision golf. he not only put rifles in them but matched them so that every club swings the same. meaning that all clubs have the same flex, same swing weight. they are a soft 6.0 flex. now that i have had this done i will never go back to any other shaft for my irons. i would suggest to anyone to do this the difference is amazing. if in ohio contact Doug at percision golf at 330-477-golf. he is the best i know of when fitting and putting together the perfect set of clubs. now these clubs are what we say is tour pure.(not like i swing like them) every club feels the same from the 2 iron down to the pitching wedge. when flushed there is no feeling that could describe it.

Customer Service

no need to use when i have percision golf and Doug Lemons working on them. he is kzg dealer and rifle certified fittment guy.

Model Reviewed: KZG Forged Blades + 52º, 56º & 60º

I had never seen these in the flesh as it were before I purchased them. I live in Ireland and you can't get KZG's in shops here. I researched info about them on this site and many others...I liked what I read and what I saw, trusted my gut feeling and went and purchased a barely used set on ebay...When I saw the clubs in reality after receiving them I knew these were the ones for me - even before hitting them!. They had the exact grips (Golf Pride Players Sofftie Cord) and shafts (DGS 400) I wanted. Hitting them was a sublime bonus in itself and what a bonus... I spent a few days hitting them on the range - the feel and consistency is perfect. The accuracy compared to my previous irons is the main thing that struck me though. The spin control from the wegdes particularly the 56º around the green is awesome - feels like the ball is on a string connected to your hands.. Then, the first time I played with 'em July 20th 2003 I won an Intermediate Scratch Cup - (Handicaps 11-18 best gross score). Playing off 11, I fended off over 200 other competitors with a 77 winning by 1 shot.....And that was just the start - I won a number of other competitions in the ensuing months shaving 3.4 strokes off my handicap. With my short game really improving due to the consistency of the sand wedge and iron accuracy & distance control coming on big time also, these irons for me were just what I was looking for and worth every cent..... Contrary to popular belief or misconception, I found these blades easier and *nicer* to hit than anything else I've tried

Vince, stick to reviewing the clubs and staw away from trying to analyse the swing. I think you may be confusing yourself with your ill informed opinions on arm and body swings and cannot be doing your game any favours.

I knew i wanted forged blades, cause i hit my friend's mizuno's mp 30 and loved them, except that getting a set will cost cost $800.00. So i researched and looked around, and read most of the reviews on this site, and kzg's caught my eye. i went to the golf store and demo all the forged blades and finally settle on KZG forged zo. i ordered precision rifle lite in 6.0(Stiff+) and had the shafts pured with tour velvet grips had it installed in less than 3 days. I took it to my local exec. course and with my 8 iron, on a par 3 around 155 yards a little down-hill i hit it flush and got a hole in one!!! first round with these clubs and they are the bomb!!! Nothing bets hitting KZG flushed, they aim like a laser. I was fortunate to get key pointers on my swing from a scratch golfer. These KZG ZO definitely dont work if your swing is all arm thinking its ZO(zero offset) and you will slice it if you try to swing using your body with your arm (if u do this u lose signifigant yardage). Most high handicappers use all arm, but with these irons you have to take these club head all the way back,(like somebody is tugging u from the waist) on the take-away and keeping your left arm straight and hitting down on the ball, and twisting your shoulders, while all at the same time keep your head steady, the ball expolodes off these KZG club-face like a rocket on impact!!! Trajectory is beautiful, it draws and fade at will, i love these clubs. i think i will sleep with them tonight, lol.

Ok this is just a repeat of what's already been stated. But I feel like I’m on a mission. I’ve been playing golf for 4 years now & I never thought that I'd be able to play blades but I just loved the look of these....& after reading all of the reviews on these clubs I had to go for it. I went to "Loft & Lie" in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and got fitted by a professional fitter ( MERLIN )…no rock was left unturned…even when I was chomping at the bit to get the clubs he made sure everything was a perfect match for my swing. Now I will be forever grateful for the time he put in. These clubs go way beyond my expectations…I don’t have any trouble hitting any of the irons ( I purchased 4-pw) in fact I’m getting the 3 iron as well. They have rifle shafts (5) and again I can’t believe them. I’ve only played 5 rounds with them so far…but already it seems like I’ve had them for years. I don’t even know how to explain the feeling you get out of a pure shot with these (well I do but my wife would kill me..lol) I’m serious….when I 1st read all of the reviews on these I thought for sure these other guys were blowing some bad wind….my mistake…they were telling the truth….I’m an 11 handicap & I know these clubs will help me lower my score. In the past I was one of those “name-brand” junkies….but after talking to the gang @ “Loft & Lie” I realized that custom fitting is the way to go. If you’re going to spend a bit of money on your clubs why not make sure they fit you!!! It’s too bad I’m not some sort of “Einstein-like genius” then I could relay the quality of these clubs a lot better. I know this “review” makes me sound like I’m a tad “out there” but at least give these a try!!!!!!!!! Two other golfing buddies of mine have also gone to “Loft & Lie” and got fitted & purchased KZG clubs. They love them just as much as I do & they swear by the fitting process as well….it was bang on. One was a huge TM fan & the other was a Callaway fan…after they tried the KZG they both switched “teams”.

Customer Service

Enough can't be said about "Loft & Lie" Every single aspect is top notch...these guys have every single angle covered. Service is fast , courteous, and “detailed”.

WOW is all I have to say about this amazing piece of art by KZG. About a year ago, I never heard of KZG. However, after reading so many good things about it, and notice so many clubmakers play it themselves, I decide to try one. It took me 2 months to find a reputable clubmaker and he gave me a great price. Check him out if you wish. Anyways, today is the first day at the range. The setup is perfect. I am used to play clubs with little offset so it looked similar to the other clubs I tried. The difference is the feel. As I said before, WOW. This is as soft as they come. Even though I shorten this by 0.75", I didn't lose much distance. Maybe about 5-10 yards, but good shots are very accurate. I used the 7 iron and hit within 5 yards of the 150 yard pole 10 times today. That's a new on target record for me. Mis-shots are not as forgiving nor accurate but it will just force me to improve. Tomorrow I will take this set to the course and looking forth to see how it does on grass and roughs. I am pretty excited from the results today that I decided to post my experience now. I encourage everyone to try it at their local clubmaker's shop.

Customer Service

The clubmaker Ron is very responsive. It took 5 days from order to delivery received. Very fast indeed.

I have played blades most of my life with an ocassional foray into cavity back clubs. These are the best blades that I have ever played. The combination of playability, trajectory, and feel make these the best. For some reason, these seem to be the easiest blades to hit, in terms of forgiveness, that I have ever hit. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed and save a few dollars in the process.

Customer Service

Buddy Beem, of Bonnie Brae Golf, is an excellent outfitter, who stands by his product. I would highly recommend this shop for your golfing needs.

These irons are like butter. The response from well struck shots is phenomenal. YOu feel absolutely nothing. Rusty and crew at Golf Etc. are true professionals all the way. I hadn't had new irons in 13 years and was having a difficult time finding irons which please me. I had run through most major manufacturers blades and just wasn't please with the quality. These blades, however, are the best I've ever hit. They get my highest rating plus 2 extra points.

Customer Service

Excellent.
