In this price range, the choices were A10's,Mizuno Comp EZ/CT's Titleist 981,762 and Taylor Made 200/300series. The A10's with Rifle(5.5) shafts were easily the front runners in looks. They are easy to hit, VERY accurate (which means birdies on par 3's) and so far very durable. I cannot think of a better "feel" upon impact from any other iron forged or otherwise. The long irons are stable, accurate, workable and easy, plus they are truly a wonderful concept with cavity graduating to muscle from the 7-iron(which feels fantastic) down to SW(also fantastic) unless you happen to be a traditionalist who only thinks in terms of blades(good luck on the TOUR!!). Mizuno, Nike and others are actually doing similar things with this blending of cavity-muscle progression. Of all the irons I have tried, these are definitely the outstanding ones interms of VALUE and PERFORMANCE and LOOKS and FEEL. Get them if you are ready. They are certainly STILL very much available in Australia, I believe because Dunlop owns the rights here. Too bad about TM pulling the plug on these(elsewhere)...they are seriously a modern CLASSIC. Needless to say, I shall not be buying anything by TM and probably want to invest in a second identical set before they become more endangered or extinct.

I found these on sale. I have always liked Maxfli irons, so I took a chance on the A-10. These are incredible clubs, possibly the best iron set I have ever played. Long irons are almost as forgiving as my Callaways, and you can just drill the short irons - they are precision instruments (popups were always a danger with the Callaway short irons). Excellent distance with all clubs. Plus they look great. It was incredibly short-sighted for the new owners to cancel production of this model!

Got the A10s with DG reg. shafts (didn't have the stiff in stock). I've been using the Corba Forged for awhile now and bought the A10s as an extra set. To my surprise the A10s have almost as soft of a feel as the Forged Cobras. And even more surprising, with the mid/long irons, I hit about 15-20 yards longer than normal. (although I normally use stiff instead of reg. shaft). Slightly more difficult to shape the flight path with the long irons, but the short irons are perfect. Must admit, one of the reasons that I got the A10 is because they look great. It's ashame that after Adidas bought Maxfli they decided to stop producing the A10s - Couldn't they put it under the Taylormade Brand?

I bought these clubs by after reading the reviews and i'm very happy of them. They have a very clssic look but are not as hard to play as a blade. You can also easily a reliably shape shots with them. I can really not understand why Maxfli stopped to produce this irons.

It's taken a little time however I am just getting into the groove with these sticks now. Had the Dynamic Gold S300 fitted. Wynne grips. After reading the reviews I bought a set. Coming down from oversize clubs was difficult but now, could not be happier. 8-9-PW-SW are fantastic. Confidence a big thing. Just set up and rip. Move from L to R and R to L with ease. Seem to be tough too. I play on hard pan course and they have not dented, scratched etc even though I expected them to. Pity Maxfli have stopped making these.

Customer Service

Excellent. Had a slight problem with 6 iron, Maxfli replaced the whole set.

It took me a while to start hitting these straight (at first I was drawing everything left) but soon found that by slightly weakening my right hand the ball flies straight with incredible reliablity. Whatsmore, just by adjusting right hand position I can fade or draw on demand. The shortest irons (8 to SW) have square grooves and this results in lot of back spin. It took a while to get used to the fact that on short pitch shots I have to aim past the pin and expect the ball to come back 3 or 4 feet (or a lot more of the green slopes up). I use the A10 ball, which I've really got to like the feel of, but unfortunately it, like the irons, is no longer marketed by Maxfli. It appears that Maxfli have suddenly expunged the A10 brand, despite having heavily advertised it as recently as 3 months ago, which is annoying. I think I'll switch back to the Titleist Pro V1, rather than spending money and time discovering which of the new Maxfli balls suit my game.

Just got the clubs in January. Took them to Florida for a week of golf and couldn't believe how great they are to hit. Solid and accurate, the 8,9 and wedge blades are nothing but dead straight. I just have to get the distance down because they are stronger than my DCI's were.

Great clubs, I like others on this site have just managed to pick these clubs up before they disappear(Dynamic Gold Standard lie & loft). I can honestly say that I am amazed by the change in my mid to short iron play. I unlike other reviewers have not found any extra distance, however what I have found is greater accuracy from the 7 iron up. I was also surprised by all of the irons being more forgiving than I expected. If you are looking as I was for an iron to take you to the next level this is it. Well done Maxfli !

Great clubs. I bought them with stiff shafts, but you should check swing speed before buying. I've been knocking down the pins and am hiting maybe 1 club further than my previous set. My fave club is the 8-iron, carries about 150, beautiful trajectory. Although have a few sets these have become my quick favourite. Long irons are solid, short irons more precise and cut clean divots. If you like the look of blades but need a bit more forgiveness these are you irons.

I got these clubs based upon reviews from this website. I am not disappointed. Aesthetically they are some of the nicest clubs that are on the market today. I have been drooling over the taylor made 300 irons because of their soft feel. When I found a set with rifle FCM 6.0 shafts i decided to go with these. They are extremely accurate all the way out to the 3 iron that I'd actually consider trying the 2 iron in my bag. The feedback is excellent and misses are not overly penalizing. They promote confidence with their sleek topline setup and the balance of these clubs are perfect. I have the standard loft and lie. These are my first set of clubs with steel shafts and i just love them. Get them now as they are no longer being produced. All around great clubs for anyone.
