Model Reviewed: MD Golf Superstrong Oversize Forged Irons

I used to think I was good enough to play blades and insisted upon doing so for the last three years. After one unforgiving shot too many I decided that I really needed a club that was more forgiving but still had feel. My local pro recommended giving the MD Golf irons a try. They were absolutely fantastic, they are forgiving and also being forged still give fantastic feel and feedback. The components are top quality and you have a choice of either graphite, dynamic gold or Rifle Ballistik Shafts. I got the latter as they have me a very consistent and penetrating flight. In short, save yourself time and money, the clubs are as good as other premium forgings ( Mizuno and Titleist ) but without the price tag, only £269 GB or approx. $475 US. Uniquely they are suitable for golfers of all abilities from scratch to 28 handicap. If you are good enough you can work the ball and if not at least they are forgiving. Having tried Pings and Callaways and found them forgiving but having no "feel" particularly in the short irons I really recommend you give these clubs a trial, you may be pleasantly surprised like I was.
