These clubs are solid and smooth. When you hit them well, they reward you with a smooth, accurate shot that feels like heaven in your hands. I switched from Tommy Armour 845's which were more forgiving, but there is no comparision when you hit a good shot. They are about a club longer than my 845's. No other club feels like a Mizuno and I will be buying the MX-23 when they come out in left handed.

This is an update of my last review. Since I started using these irons at the beginning of summer ( past 3 months ) My index has dropped from 10.5 to 7.7 almost 3 strokes. I can attribute it to the Comp Ez's. I have not changed any thing else in the bag. Great Irons ! I increased my distance 5-10 yds and my accuracy and consistency is better. Great distance control. Great Mizuno looks and quality.

Just picked these up on closeout, and once I traded my old DCI's in and some other loose stuff in for them, they only cost about $80 brand new in the box. I have only gone through the set on the range, but I can tell already that once I get used to them, they are going to allow me to change my level of play to "Shoots in the 70s". Easily 5-10 yards longer than my old Titleists, with a much more piercing trajectory. I know they will help because they will force me to become a better ball striker. Miss just a little and it lets you know, but the good thing is the shot doesn't suffer much on misses. I hit it all over the face of my Titleists and they all felt flush to me. These also set up really nicely. If you can find a set on closeout, check them out. 2nd swing was selling a USED set of these for more than the new set! Just need to get them bent a couple degrees up and possibly extended another half inch and regripped with golf pride tour wraps and they should be perfect.

These arent the same clubs as the Comp-EZ's but I think that these are the newer version of them. They are great irons. When hit cleanly they can give excellent distance. They have great feel, I love it when you hit great shots with this club, it just feels so good. Even bad shots dont turn out so bad. If you skull the ball, it will still go a long ways. I hit these clubs about 10 yards longer than my last irons that had graphite shafts. Any golfer looking for a good set of clubs for under $500, I encourage you to look into these irons. I would rank these up with the MP-22's and they are half the price.

Great set of Irons...I like them better then the MX 20's.Great feel..very forgiving...Excellent distant control..which I really look for in my irons. I have tried alot of different irons in th past couple of years ..these are the best. Greaty deals on e-bay right now as they have been discontinued.

I first started playing with a set of old wilson blades. They were probably 20 years old, so once I decided that I wanted to be serious about the game I began to search the market for my clubs. I originally wanted a set of Cobras, but when i hit with this set of clubs they were so smooth. No matter how i hit the ball it was an improvement from those wilsons. I have been palying with my Mizunos for about a month now and my score has drastically reduced. If you are an average golfer who wants to get serious about the game, go to a local golf retailer and give these clubs a try.

These are the best irons I have ever played in my life. The feel is so positive and the accuracy is the best. I will play these irons until the grooves wear off and they are worth every penny.

I traded in my callaways about one year ago for the comp ez's. Since the change my accuracy, distance, and feel have improved tremendously. I am now a full club longer than my playing partners who used to be longer than me. I am also more accurate than ever. I would not change for anything. They could not be better. You people who want a great club that is easy to hit and gives the feel of a blade, then find a used set of comp ez's. I don't know anything about the new models and I don't care because I'm not switching until I wear mine out in 5 years.

mizuno comp EZ. Started playing seriously about 8 months back. And in the search for a set of irons i chanced upon this web-site, much to my advantage. After reading the reviews on certain selected sets i chose the mizuno. Got it at a sell off in a department store. Have gained about 20 yards on all the irons. A 3 iron gets me about 190-200 yrds. All well and good. Now i would like to thank all the reviewers for their contributions. Where i come from testing equipments are a luxury if at all. Demo days are rare. So i actually bought my set based on what the reviewers wrote and it helps, HEAPS! Thanks people.

Customer Service

Bad service. The shaft of my 6 iron snapped near the hosel while i was at the driving range. Took the dealers about 4 weeks to repair it and on top of that they scratch and marked the head with their repair equipment.

I've been playing regularly for 25 years and these irons are the best i've ever hit...1 1/2 clubs longer than my Pings, and so much more response and feel...The spring action off the face cannot be described...You have to try it yourself to understand why they're so incredible...
