Mizuno MX-15 Irons

Mizuno MX-15 Irons

DESCRIPTION

The new MX-15TM gives every golfer the chance to experience the benefits of dual T-Zoid® Power BarTM technology. The MX-15TM is a stainless steel game improvement iron with intricate perimeter weighting creating a low, deep center of gravity for exceptional forgiveness and ideal trajectory. The Dual T-Zoid® Power BarTM moves the center of gravity away from the face on longer irons (3-7) to help elevate the ball, while the solid T-Zoid® Power BarTM on the shorter irons (8-PW) provides more feel and workability for pinpoint accuracy with the scoring irons

Its among the best clubs. Confidence at address and accurate. It may look like beginners club but when good scores are consistent, no complains. Has no offset or very little and face is slightly close. U can surely rotate ur trunk aggressively and still hit a straight shot! Although its designed for easy lift off, the shots does not balloon like in wide soles. Divot is still possible though not as significant as blades. But who wants a divot nowadays, even Tiger stops doing that! Get one and try it!

I have been playing Ping ISI-K irons for 3 years, but wanted to try something else. I felt like I was getting robbed on decent swings, and the Mizuno line of products came highly recommended by Pro and assistant. I am very pleased with my purchase so far. Shots seem to stay on line better, less loss of distance. Can hit the long irons high without effort, bringing the ball softly onto the green. Tried some others out there, these were best for my handicap level. Excellent feel for a cast club, too.

These clubs are without doubt the best around. I brought a brand new set of Callaway X16's but could not get along with them. Tried both the Wilson Deep Red which were very good but these just had the edge. These are a "must have" club and pound for pound, cannot be beaten. The wedges are unbelievable. Better then a night in Bangkok with a dozen prostitutes!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! I've been playing with my first set of irons for the past 4 years (Taylor Made LCG - Regular Flex Graphites). I've always felt that I had greatly improved my swing in the last couple of years and wanted to try out a new set of irons. I went and demoed the MX-15 stiff steel shafts. I can't say enough about these clubs. Before I was hitting maybe 40% Greens in Reg. On my demo rounds I hit 80% greens in reg. The irons give me 15 yards extra on the mids and long irons not to mention the superior accuracy. I usually shoot around an 87 but the confidence and improved play with these clubs resulted in a round of 81. All year long I've only shot 81 once before. I don't believe that this second round of 81 was a coincidence. Its definitely the MX-15. Now I am looking forward to hitting in the 70s with these great new clubs that I will buy in 2 hours when the stores open! NO JOKE you have got to try them out.

By far the best bang for the buck. Technology equal to Taylormade RAC Combo irons at 1/3 the cost.

Got the MX-15 with the regular graphite shafts, which seem more like a stiff flex. Most of my shots seem to go out to the right and were about 10 yds. shorter than Callaway's X14. After about 3 weeks of total flustration I took them back and got some Callaway X14. What a difference, I guess I am sold on Callaways. Sorry to all the people who wrote execellent reports on the Mizuno X15, but just didn't experience their results they got. I wish them well with lots of birdies.

Tried the Callaway X16's and after one round was ready to buy them when the pro suggested the Mizuno's. Have played twice and shot 85 and 82 which might not sound great but normally I never 3 putt however, I was so excited with the Irons that I was desperate to get to the next tee and kept racing the putts past from 6-10 feet (yes, these Irons are accurate and I hit most greens in regulation).I found I was able to get consistently accurate short iron shots without forceing it. The heads look and feel heavy and chunky but I find this aids confidence when 150 yards and less from the pin. Ball flight is high and stops quickly. All the clubs feel effortlessly powerful with the only downside being the lack of feel you get from a forged set - but these aren't far off. Mid and long irons are all easy to hit. Try them, you won't regret it. As a foot note, the first time I took them out on demo I joined another 15 handicapper playing Callaway X14's. Seeing how they played he tried them as well. He finished after 9 holes saying he was off to buy a set (I thought he was all talk). However, he must have been impressed because by the time I had finished all 18 holes he had traded in his Callaways for the Mizuno's!

I had a cheap old set of hand me down irons that I used enough to give me the golf bug, so I decided to invest in some decent clubs. I had three seperate fittings from three different pro's and eventually ordered 2 degree upright 1/2" long MX-15's. I compared these on the driving range with Wilson deep red and also pings. I discounted the pings straight away and then spent a lot of time with the MX-15's and Deep Reds. I eventually decided on the MX-15's, because they just feel so good and are slightly more forgiving than the Deep Red. I have now played two rounds with these irons and reduced my score by 10 shots already. They are a really good club, and fill you with confidence. The long irons are ok, the 3 iron is not the easiest, but all the other irons are great. They give good feedback so you know where you've hit the ball on the face, but the ball still goes fairly straight on an off centre hit. Like the adverts say "Nothing feels like a Mizuno"

These are far above all other brands I demoed. I have been playing these since Jan. I demoed just about all other brands OS game improvement irons. Also the MX-20 which I couldn't tell enough difference in performance to justify the cost. The long irons are very easy to hit. These must be made with a soft stainless steel as they have a softer sweeter feel at impact than all of the other cast clubs I've tried.

After starting to learn how to play with some hand me down blades, I finally decided to invest in some starter clubs. These by far have been a great choice for me. I demo'd several, like Lynx and TM 200's, but the Mizuno's stood out. Very light and balanced they are easy to hit for someone who is still figuring out their swing and game. I highly recommend for any beginner or someone looking for a light alternative to the forgiving club champs at a good price.
