Strength:

These are irons I keep coming back to, they just seem to preform well. The heads are bigger than blade type irons but not huge so you can still move them through the rough. I also appreciate their durability. Diamond Concrete Co.

Weakness:

Definitely nothing weakness.

Strength:

I purchased these second hand 3-p wedge, dynamic gold light shaft. Bent 1 deg up. previous owner played them little and really looked after the. Not a spot of rust, all the paint was in the grooves, no wear on face of wedge. I have set of max improvement RAZRX irons, so bought these for fun. You really learn to release the club on follow through to get max out of these irons, which do play shorter, but to a given distance. You get lots of spin off these irons, an 8 iron will stop dead on a firm green. I have a high handicap but playing these forces you to think about hitting, a very good game improvement iron.

Weakness:

You will lose a little distance so greater club head speed is required.

I have been playing golf for 30 yrs, usually shoot mid high 70's. Have played several brands, normally play Callaway irons. I picked a used set of mx-23 irons the other day. I wanted an Iron that I could get more feedback from. These irons delivered, when you miss the sweet spot, you will know it. It takes a little getting used to, as most irons of today feel good if you hit them well or not. Some might ask why would I want a shot to feel poorly, the benefit is you will know when you are not swinging correctly. When you miss hit a shot, they still deliver great shots, these irons also seem to be very easy to hit shots with, fade and draw was a matter of simply adjusting stance open or closed no need to adjust the swing path. Awesome irons, would recommend.

I was using a set of Silver Scot 845s and thought I'd never change until I was sold a set of MX-23s for $60. To this day, I feel like I ripped this guy off! The sweet spot on these are huge and the forgiveness of these clubs is beyond description.

These are going to be in my bag die a LONG time!

Recently picked up a set of these 4-pw for under $100. These are the sweetest irons I have played in my 3 year golf adventure. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the feeling of hitting the sweet spot on these forged babies! They are not going to give you a better swing, but they are great feeling irons. I will never own cast clubs again. There is a difference.

I have recently evolved into a Mizuno fan. Last week I ran across a set of these in great shape for 45.00. Put new grips on the and gamed them today for first time. I only hit irons today and never used driver ir FWs. Shot a 79. These MX 23 are everything I heard they were. Straight, forgiving and smooth. I play MP54s but these performed every bit as good. Not the feel if thr 54s but Im not complaining. Awesime set.

To J Molloy, the current offering from Mizuno that is comparable to the MX-23 is the JPX800HD.
