I have only just received these clubs and had all the proper lie angle adjustments made, and I am blown away by these beautiful irons. First attempt with a 3-iron at the range gave me the longest, straight shot I've ever had with a 3-iron. The trajectory was incredible, landing 5m past the 175m (190 yards) marker, and rolling another 5-10 metres.
I had never used a forged iron before, so I simply could not believe the feeling in my hands. There would be a light 'click' noise as the ball screamed off the face; I think they're giving me another 10 metres, easy.
While they do have a thick top line that some might not find appealing, I say leave your ego at home and give these babies a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I paid $295 on ebay.
I just recieved mine today and went straight to the driving range, I had some dficulty hittin the P, 9 and 8 at first but adapted easily after a couple of tries, however the first shots with the 3,4 and 5 were straight as an arrow unlike the calloway clones I have had for 7+ years, I was fairly consistent with my old 4I hitting it around 180yds but with a mild fade at the end, but with the MX-900s I could hit the 3I exactly where I was aiming and it would carry about 210yds. These are beautiful clubs and they feel better than any I have ever tried, I normaly can't work the ball at all but with these I found myself putting draw or fade when I wanted to. I would definatley recommend these to any mid to high handicaper that makes good contact with the ball but wants to straighten their shots and gain dart throwing accuracy and distance, but with any reccomendation be careful, if you don't make good contact with the ball these clubs will make no difference to the begginer that is still just whacking at the ball. Mizuno has my undying devotion for their product from now on.

I have played exclusively Mizuno irons for 20 years as they are simply the best. I have owned MP 29s, MP 30s, MP 60s and recently purchased 2 sets of MX 900s. These are outstanding, longer than the others by at least 10+ yards and very forgiving. For the price, using the grain flow forged technology, these are the best buy out there. Get them before they're gone because the new MX 950s aren't as good!

I ordered the new MX-950s thinking that they were the next evolution of the extraordinarily excellent MX-900s. Wrong! They didn't feel or look the same at all. And I hated having my 3 & 4 replaced with hybrids. Fortunately with the playability guarantees I got full credit and was able to buy a gently used set of MX-900s as well as a returned set of the new MP-57s. The MX-900s are the easiest to hit that I've ever experienced. The MP-57s are great for practice and feedback to improve my ball striking. Eventually I may mix the sets to suit my skills. Overall I couldn't be happier with the situation.

Customer Service

The Mizuno factory rep fitted me for the MP-60s before the MP-57 launch but said the fitting would apply across the line.

Buy these clubs! If you shoot in the 80s 90s 100s these clubs are for you. Great feel, very forgiving and wonderful distance. I've played 5 rounds with these clubs and my last round I shot a 78. Got mine new on ebay for $345.00 a steal for such great clubs!

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Burner 9.5 SuperFast RE*AX 50g graphite shaft stiff

Driving was always the least consistent part of my game. I have had quite a few different makes and models of driver over the years but never was 100% happy with any of them. I tested one of these Taylor Made Burners at a local store and really like how it set up and felt. I bought it and 3 months down the line I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is about as close as I will get to perfect in a driver. I am hitting the ball long and more importantly fairly straight for the first time ever. I have had some excellent scores with this club and would recommend it to anyone.

I played with an old Wilson clubs with graphite shafts from a friend of mine. I was struggled with my short game and my 4,5,6 irons are not as accurate as I want them to be. My average is around 105 with this old Wilson set. I visited golf ranch like once a week so I can not get improve through consistantly practice.
I was told by a friend that this MX 900 is good and wanted me to give it a try. I went to a local discount shop with golf ranch. I tried and love it. The hybrid design from 3 to 7 did help my game a lot. highly increase my confidence level when hitting the 3,4,5 irons. No need to seek help from my hybrid. The 9, P is so far the best short irons I have tried.
I have played with my new MX900 3-P/Steel shaft(NSpro950) for around 20 rounds. Average around 93!
10+ improvement!
I also tried Taylormade R7 that my brother owned. this a good club. but the price is much higher than my MX900. I think MX900 is the best clubs you can get in the same price level.

There are numerous game improvement clubs on the market but very few game improvement clubs are made of forged steel. This club gives even the high handicap player a taste of what forged steel, feedback and touch can do to someone's confidence. This is the best set of irons that you can buy at the current price.

Golf Test USA tested this club and it was second only to the Callaway fusion irons! For half of the price, I can take 'second best'.

I purchased the 4-PW set since I use Rescue Hybrid. The appearance of these clubs are like a cavity back club (instead of the undercut cavities that many manufacturers are moving towards. The grips are by Golf Pride which are comfortable but I switched to Winn Excel Midsize for a soft feel and so I don't need to wear gloves. I have the Exsar IS2 graphite shafts which are lightweight and easy to control.

I will have to say that these clubs are so easy to use and set up. The wider soles of the 4 and 5 irons gives me the confidence to make the shots and not have to resort to more 'hybrids' to enjoy the game. I have been hitting on the sweet spot and the feel and flight are phenomenal. Off centered hits are forgiven with some loss in distance.

I hit these irons 10 yards farther than my steel shaft irons (Hogan Apex Edge).

At the current price of $599 for iron or graphite, this is the best value for graphite shafted forged clubs around. I strongly suggest you try a set!

First of all i would like to state that i normally do not write reviews b/c i feel like i really couldn't contribute anything at all.
I have only been playing golf for 3 months now and have never owned a pair of clubs. I would always share clubs with whoever i was playing with and he had a set of Callaway X (something..not really for sure) and when i played a round of golf i was like 105-110 (really depressing + was just beginning). I have now been playing with the MX-900 (got them on e-bay for $499.99) for 2 months now and haven't been on a course since my last 106 (honestly..embarrassed). I have been going to a driving range 3 times a week and practicing. I played a round of golf today and shot a 85 on a par 72 course. I dropped 20 + strokes in less than a 2 month time period. These clubs are AWESOME and have a great sound when you make contact. They are such a confidence booster. I have been sold on MIZUNO and love their product. If they can help improve my game they should be able to improve anybody's game.
