Mizuno Novell II Irons

Mizuno Novell II Irons

DESCRIPTION

U-grooves produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
Designed to deliver better control, these very playable irons feature a dual cambered sole to reduce turf drag as well as U-grooves for additional spin and optimal trajectory. The heel-toe weighting along with the added mass in the back of the clubhead expand the sweet spot area for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits.
Designed Specifically for the Female Golfer:
- Optimal loft angles featured in all irons for greater playability
- An oversized sweetspot and a lower, deeper center of gravity deliver better trajectory, making it easier to get the ball airborne
- Dual camber sole reduces turf drag and minimizes digging on fat shots

My wife (56 year old grandma) has been trying to learn golf for 40 years. I quit trying to teach her after our first round in high school took 2 hours for 4 holes. Spent an hour on the range last night with these and she finally was getting the ball off the ground consistently and smiling. Great quality clubs. $478 for 4-pw and 1,3, 5 woods. Graphite shafts and all. If you want to get someone started, DON'T get a starter set for $150 bucks at Sam's club. Spend a little and let the technology work for you. So much easier and so much more fun with decent equipment. This may be the best $500 I've ever spent on my wife. Now if she will just let me get some MX 20's.
