Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II Irons

Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II Irons

DESCRIPTION

The Pro-II is ideal for golfers who are looking for the traditional look and feel of a muscle back blade with the forgiveness offered by a cavity back design. Mizuno has taken the playability of the T-Zoid Pro and added more feel and control.

there is a reason why mizuno has been the #1 iron pga tour for the last 7 years. there is also a reason why mizuno only has 7 or 8 players on thier factory team.other players play them without being payed too. by the way when is the last time you have seen a mizuno comerical or advertisement you don't because they don't need too. these clubs sell them selfs by word of mouth. how many so called top manufactures(taylor, callaway, ping, ect}can say that. what else can i say but .......................................................................................................................................MIZUNO #1 IRON ON PGA TOUR...............

These clubs have superb feel and the ball flight is perfect. The long irons are an absolute pleasure to hit, far easier than I expected. These clubs offer the good ball striker the ability to shape shots as well as control the trajectory of the ball. If you are a consistant ball striker then look no further than these clubs, you are sure to 'feel' the difference!

The irons feel very good on some off center hits and great on dead spanks. I was able to work the ball from any fairly easily. I usually hit my 6 iron roughly 180 or so but I hit this club on a 190 par3, landed on the green (no wind) and stopped it 12 feet from the pin. Great shots are rewarded and off center hits are not that bad either.
The feel of these irons and my old Mizuno irons are relatively the same.
These are slightly more forgiving than the others I have tried. These are the irons of my choice. Simply put, I know why they are the #1 iron on tour.

i have tried just about every club out there. i buy a lot on ebay and actually play with them, not just hit a club at the range and then tell people they are great or that they aren't. for a skilled golfer i am convinced that these mizunos are the best choice out there. currently i also still have apex plus irons and mp-14's the mp-14's are great but i rarely use the long irons. the pro II's give great feedback but provide similar performance to the mp-14's but not the same punishment. the feel isn't quite they same but still very good. the apex plus irons provide more forgiveness in the long irons and feel great but they look and perform a bit mroe like a game improvement iron and don't spin it quite as well. the less shinny chrome finish on the pro's looks better after it has seen some wear, so this is also a plus in comparison to the hogans and other clubs that look so shinny and new...trust me, this won't last unless you don't actually use them!!. i know this is more of a comparison than a review of the mizunos, but i thought it would be more helpful than me just saying they were my favorite irons and how great they were. my only negative is the PW, i have been using the mp-14 pitching wedge because it feel a lot better, i will give it more of a chance though i guess

Bottom line: buy them! I've been playing these for about 2 years and have fallen in love with Mizuno's. I'm getting the MP-33's (don't ask me why) but plan to keep the Pro's because they've been so good to me. Will go back if the 33's aren't superior. Distance, feel, accuracy, and game improvement. Mizuno rules, just get 'em.

The Pro II sets up nicely with the thin top edge. For a forged club, it is surprisingly forgiving. The feel is absolutely phenomenal, cast clubs don't come close to feeling this nice!.

I find working the ball very easy with these irons and I like the trajectory. Distance control is consistent.

Forged clubs are easier to customize for a player. I had the lofts weaken 1 degree for all of the irons.

After playing these for a year, I am a confirmed forged iron man.

I usually shoot 80's but I break 80 about every 4 to 5 rounds. and my GIR has improved.

If you have reasonable ball-striking ability, these clubs are definitely worth checking out.

I come from learning on a knock off set of irons that were virtually identical to the Callaway BB irons (identical down to the "trough" around the entire cavity back, and have been playing for about 8 years. Anyway, I found the Pro IIs to be one of the very few blade-like irons that I could hit consistently well, and what a great feel! It is like butter. Other irons, like the Apex Plus, felt great when I made perfect contact, but this didn't happen nearly as often. I've had my Pro IIs for 8 months now, and they continue to grow on me. And for <$500, you can't beat the value, but I don't believe you should be picking out your clubs based on price. I chose the irons based on feel, then traditional top line look, and then negotiated best price. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Once you go forged you'll never go back. Simply the sweetest feeling club I've ever hit. I've always been pretty long off the tee and have a good short game, but my iron play held me back. Thanks to these sticks I can finally call myself a decent ball striker. I hit every green on the front nine last weekend... that's something I never could have done before these clubs. They are suprisingly forgiving for a club that looks so blade-like and they are very workable. I can hit all the shots on demand.
