Before purchasing these irons, i played to a handicap of 22. After only 2 months of using them i have scored a hole-in-one with the 6 iron, had a couple of rounds in the high 70's and now play off 14. Truly superb irons for feel and distance. Offset in short irons is a bit confusing, but what the heck.

I have been playing the Mizuno True''s for almost a year. Before obtaining these irons, I had been jumping around looking for the right club. I found it here! They are the best feeling clubs I have every hit. The price is too low for these irons, but I won''t complain. As soon as I played about 5 rounds with the True''s I sold my set of Ping I-3 Blades and titleist 962''s. I actually obtained another set of the True''s through winning a golf tournament. I know that finding another set would be tough as they only made them 1 year. So now I have 2 sets. Once the first set is done I will have a fresh new set to take their place. I have found the best set of Irons I have ever played.

i had been playing a set of lynx irons since 8th grade. i am now a senior in high school and i just bought a set of these trues. I love the wasy they feel especially the long irons. i played today and shot a 75 in 20 mph winds. the irons helped alot because its so easy to hit low punch shots. i know some people will disagree with me, but they are quite forgiving compared to other blade irons i''ve played, if you are a resonably good ball striker i would recommend them. the only complaint i have about them is the stupid offset in the 8 iron through pw. to go from no offset with the 7 iron to quite a bit with the 8 iron is a big jump.

I just purchased these clubs two weeks ago and took them to the range first thing. These clubs are very accurate, sharp clean soft feel and good distance (provided you make a good swing and good contact). No club can be accurate or feel good with a poor shot obviously. I''ve played almost every top brand of club and there''s just something about a blade. There''s no doubt, these are blades. Some people say that you have to be a "scratch" golfer to hit blades and others say that anyone can hit them. I feel the truth falls somewhere in between. I wouldn''t recommend these to a beginner or anyone struggling to break 100 or 95. However, if you can shoot from 90 to lower than these could work for you if you practice. I had a set of Mizuno T-Zoid Pros (original) before these and they are fine clubs as well. I think the T-Zoid pros are a bit longer and a little more forgiving but the feel of a blade is awesome and in my opinion easier to control. The ball does what you want it to do with these. I shot an 82 on my first round with these at a pretty tough course. There is more to shooting low than just iron play obviously... I''ve been switching clubs quite a bit in the last couple of years and I think I will settle in with these for a good while! Hit them flush and you''ll know what "pure" means. In Texas the weather can really play a factor and these sticks work well in the wind. I think I''m going to carry Callaway X-14 4, 3, and 2 irons for easier more dependable long iron shots. P.S. Don''t let other people''s egos affect your decisions on buying clubs. Go with what you hit well and like. Some blade players think they''re so cool and discount cast clubs like Callaway, Ping, etc.. Ask them why Jesper Parnivik, Chris DiMarco, and many other PGA pros play cast clubs if they are so un-cool and work so poorly...

I have had these irons for about a year now and I have to say they are the most consistant irons that I have ever played. I agree w/ the others that say these clubs "fit" your swing. I have some friends that can''t hit these as well as their cavity back irons. To play these well you must be a good ball striker. Two things I don''t like about these irons: Too much offset in the short irons and the factory grips were horrible. Regrip these bad boys and you have a steal at @ $300 new.

Most people might think that these forged blades are hard to hit, but they are actually more forgiving than they look. These clubs are also very workable and feel soft when you hit the sweet spot. Plus these irons are just absolutely gorgeous, got a clean and slick look to them. The price I got them for is unbelievable too, $299 for a set of Mizuno forged irons! Initially, I bought it for the look and value, but after a week or two of practicing with it, I realized that the performance of these clubs is great too! I bought the sandwedge that goes along with the set of irons too. And it performs just as well as the irons; stuck a lot of chips stiff with it. This set is going to be in my bag for a while.

I picked these up used on ebay 1 Year ago. I have learned in a short time how to feel a good swing. Too often you hear they are not forgiven, they are for scratch or better in my opinion not true. If you have willingness to listen and feel, these clubs consistently give feedback, they are true as their name. I don''t think much is accomplished by just hitting without knowing what and how you attain your results. My advice is get a good set of clubs and then you will start your journey of learning to play golf. I have shot in the seventies a few times since I got these clubs, which I''ve never done before. I have been playing for 4 Years now, and I''ve learned more in the last season than the previous Years.

Finally found a set of these beauties brand new after searching for more than 2 months. Fell in love immediately after hitting them (3 iron 225). The combination of the TT Dynalite Gold Sensicore R300 shafts and the Mizuno Forged blade is like a dream. True Temper makes a damn nice shaft. I find that the ball flies high with a ''heavy'' penetrating flight. Anyone who can shoot 15 hcp and lower will enjoy playing with these. They are surprising forgiving (at the bottom and toe) and the ball can be worked both ways nicely. Was surprised by the Velvet GP grips. Originally I did not like them but they have grown on me. The only knock on these is the offset in the 8,9,PW. I draw the ball and must compensate at address by opening the face up. Other wise, these are a deadly set of irons. I highly recommend them.

I tried these True irons from a friend of mine and they felt very good. Thats why I''m looking for a set of these Mizuno True irons myself, but they are very hard to find in the Netherlands (Europe). After reading the reviews, some of the writers have purchased the #3-PW irons for about 350 USD. That''s why I tried in this way to find some one who can give me advice where and how I can obtain the mentioned True irons for, preferably, a good price.
