Based on favorable reviews of Nickent's 3DX irons and hybrids, I found a used set of these earlier generation irons at a local golf shop with the stock graphite shafts. Wow, these irons are easy to hit and long. Unlike other reviewers, I've been able to shape shots fairly easily but I agree that these are game improvement irons, rather than hard-core player irons. In any event, each iron hits roughly 10-20 yards longer than my previous set, Titleist Oversized DCIs, so I end up swinging easier with more control. Interestingly, the sand wedge and pitching wedge that came with the set have replaced my much more expensive Cleveland wedges. I don't know if its because the Nickent shafts are matched to the rest of the set or whatever, but I like the Nickent wedges better. New sets are pretty pricey but because Nickent is not a name yet, the deals on used ones are great - if you can find them.

Customer Service

No need yet but the clubs seem very well constructed

I got fitted and my pro recommended these for me in the summer of 05. I didn't really like them until I started the spring season this year. They were instrumental in helping me break 90 for the first time and, along with practice, helped drop my handicap from a 27 to a 13 this summer. Seeing as how they're a discontinued product line (nickent seems to love them their 3DXes) the value on these will keep getting better if you can ever find them on ebay. Gets a 4/5 on overall because while they are good at what they do (game improvement) they offer little in the feel and workability categories. Also, a disclaimer: either they're lofted very strong (can't find specs on Nickent's website) or just that much farther than blades because my PW goes about 110+ (and gets far less spin) while my adams GW (52*) goes about 90ish. Although this only started happening after I screwed with my swing (adding wrist movement (w/ other minor changes), the gap between the two clubs was negligent prior to the change) So get a strong GW/weak PW if you play a 52* typically for this set. Or consult someone else.

Customer Service

N/A, although judging by Nickent's presentation and website if I ever had a problem I'd expect a lot out of their service.

Coming into the mid to high handicap range as a golfer of the last five years, this was my year to go out and splurge on a jammy set of high end clubs to boost my game into the realm of the low handicap/scratch golfer. I must say after setting my budget high to accomodate those gorgeous new Calloway or Ping golf clubs I set out to find my new glory sticks. I went to the local retailer who boasted a driving range along with their huge selection of clubs and I found about 7 or 8 different types of 7 irons to go try out. After taping up all the clubs the salesman said to give it an unbiased try. There was one set of irons which really stood out. Genex Titaniums by Nickent? Never heard of them but why am I making such solid contact on even the off shots? Astonished I went back in to the salesman and told him I'd think about it and left confused. Why had these irons I've never even heard of been so pleasant to hit? I went to the Nickent website and learned that this is a real future player in the golf retail market. The clubs were awesome for a mid to high handicap player and had a wonderful and large sweet spot. As far as a working the club goes well I'm not there yet however if you want to hit it straight and long with pretty much any part of the club face I highly recommend the Genex Titanium irons from Nickent.

Customer Service

I haven't had a single problem yet however I was assured that it would be no problem getting repairs and replacements.

I was looking for a set of clubs to improve my game, getting back into golf after a few years off. I looked at maxfli first, they were ok, then mizuno mx-15 and callaway 2002's. I was going to get the mizuno, but they sold when i went back to buy them. I tried the golden bear, powerbilt and genex steel. I changed my mind to the titaniums as they weren't much extra per club and had a better feel off the face and i preferred the weighting of the titanium. I got steel shafts, as my 5 iron was averaging a head speed of 90mph. I feel safer with steel as i can take a hefty divot when i drop my rear shoulder. First day at the range, i was getting at least one to two clubs extra. The distance and flight are great on these clubs. I haven't tried working anything yet, as i want consistent ball strike first. No use working a bad shot. The look and feel of these clubs is good. My front knee is sore from watching sweet shots fly at the range... I wish i had reviewed more clubs before purchasing, but being left handed drops my options and raises my prices. All in all, i am happy with my purchase of Nickent and would recommend them to a mid to low handicapper.

Customer Service

Emailed them a few questions about club registration and heard nothing back after more than a week still. Got my clubs in two days from ordering though.
