Nike Slingshot Individual Iron with Graphite Shaft The Nike Slingshot Individual Iron with Graphite Shaft delivers forgiveness. Forgiveness begins in irone with weight management. Moving weight deeper and lower results in a larger sweet spot and a deeper center of gravity that actually exists in air behind the face. The benefit is a mixed set of hybrids and irons that are more forgiving and launch the ball higher. There are 30 grams of Nike PowerBow weighted low and back with a deeper sole that

I'm a golfer who usually shoots in the mid 90s and was playing the other day at my local 9 hole golf course and one of my buddies has these clubs and i had never hit them and decided to grab his 6 and hit with it. I used to play with some old Wilson blade irons and could max out at 220 with a 3 iron on a gooooood day
i grabbed his six and hit it a good 220 straight down the fairway. i was amazed. I grabbed his 4 and hit it 250 right down the center! I don't know if I've ever even drove that far! i was immediately hooked. I'm looking to get these irons now ASAP. i would without a doubt recommend these irons to and golfer, any day!

I am a guy who consistently shoots in the mid to high 90's. I felt it was time to make a switch to a higher caliber iron. I demoed a lot of sets until I came across the Slinghshots. I was sold on them right away. First time out with them I shot an 88, my best score by 5 strokes. If I could have putted at all it would have been in the low 80's. They are extremely forgiving and straight. I am losing about 10 yards of distance from my prior set, but who cares when I just shaved 7-10 strokes off my average first time out. They are a perfect set for a high handicapper with a little trouble being consistent with their irons. I can't wait to play my next round with them.

Bought the Slingshot OSS irons based on reviews. I had never tested then prior to buying them. Bought new off ebay. Graphite Stiff. great price.
Took about 6 rounds to get used to them and overall they have been great. 6 iron-AW for me have been great now that I have my distances down. Incredible loft and accuracy, but not getting the same distances. Ill trade the first two for the third any day. Have since bought the Slingshot Tour 3 and 4 Hybrids in the same shaft and stiffness and Im starting to hit these very consistant and at better distances than my old 3 and 4 irons.

tested the Taylor made R7 Draw irons and played the X-20s on vacations for 3 rounds. Personally based on my skill level, I would put the Slingshots ahead of the R7s and on Par with the X-20s

I absolutely love these clubs!!! I typically shoot between 100 to 110. I have played about 12 rounds of golf since getting these clubs. The first 8 rounds of golf I didnt really like them, had buyers remorse actually. I bought a barely used set off Ebay for less than $250 so the price was great. These clubs have changed my game, in the past week I have elevated my game now that i am use to these irons. A local 9 hole course that I tyupically shoot a 45 on I shot a 38 yesterday. The round before that I was putting 140 yard shots 2 feet from the pin, 1775 out, 5 yards from the pin. I have gotten use to these clubs and now will not consider using anything else! I love them, i actually have the "golf itch" now and cant wait to play again! I thought I had lost distance as well at first using htese clubs, but now that I have gotten use to the bigger club base on these I am hitting longer and straighter than ever before. IF you dont have a decnet set of irons, GO GET THESE, but be patient give yourself some time with them before saying things like "i lost distance" because once you learn to hit these you will add length to your shots! Buy the set with the Attack Wedge, it is my favorite club form 15 yard chips to 65 yard arrprach shots its the best club int he bag!!!! I am a NIke Slingshot fan forever!

I just bought these irons and have used them once. They got the ball nicely in the air and added about 10yrds to each of my clubs. I've always hated par 3's and birdied one today with a 6 over 155yrds and landed about 3yrds away. These have been great on their first 18 holes. They are very forgiving and hit the ball nicely. (with a good sound too)
I would deffinately recomend these to anyone who is looking to improve their score and hasn't been playing too long. They are a great price for the money since I got mine for 400. Overall I would give them a 5 out of 5. The feel was great and I could deffinately shape my shots.

Unbelievable set of clubs for people like me. I started playing golf a few years back with a set of clubs that where designed for beginners. About every third to fifth shot was something worth looking at. With these I am getting the distance and the accuracy that I have been needing.

When I first ordered my Nike Slingshot OSS irons, 4-AW, I was apprehensive. I am a med-high handicapper who generates a lot of clubhead speed. After reading reviews about the Nike Slingshot OSS irons, it was a mixed bag. Some said they gained distance, some said they lost distance. I've never really been worried about distance , but ball trajectory interested me. When I started playing 5 years ago, I had no idea. But having played regularly since, I notice that despite my desire to hit a higher ball, I'm a low ball hitter. These irons have erased that. My ball flight is much higher and straighter than I had ever seen with my old irons (callaway steelhead plus knockoffs). It remains to be seen whether I have gained or lost distance, but the fact that I can now actually hit my 4 5 and 6 irons accurately and high enough to land softly is reassuring enough for me.
Having now played three rounds with these clubs (one on a championship course that used to host a senior PGA event) I can honestly say that the potential for these clubs is sky high. Although I have issues with the grips (I’ll be regripping soon), the clubs themselves are astounding. Often on courses with narrow doglegs, holes that almost force the driver out of your hands, I was at a distinct disadvantage. I continually hit my four iron off the tee to great effect, to the tune of about 210-220 yards and deadly accurate. My best friend and golfing buddy who was riding with me obviously had expected me to tank it on this course because of my shaky iron play in the past. The shorter irons are just as accurate, and the weighting of the club plus the hot face equals high, soft landing shots. The greens that I hit (not as many as I would have liked, but that’s golf) the ball was never more than 5 feet from the spot it landed, proof positive that the ball was coming almost straight down when it landed. I'm not sold on these clubs for the short game, even though I did chip one in from about 15 yards and nearly holed another one for par. For all the chips I had over the weekend, had I not lost my trusty sand wedge I would have done much better. The hot face sometimes leads to overhitting the short “in between” shots and chips around the green. Flop shots are also risky unless you have a very fluffy lie, as the thick clubhead is hard to slide under the ball. These irons do not get snagged in the rough like other clubs.

The slingshot tours are a very solid all around club. They have good feel at impact, decent shot shaping capabilities, and are fairly forgiving. I think these clubs are perfect for the bogey golfer who isn't lying to themselves about how good they actually are. Nike lists the Slingshot tours as game improvement clubs, but I think that low handicappers would be surprised at their versatility.
