Model Reviewed: System Q Adrenaline Hybrid Irons

I had almost gave up the dream of being able to hit a iron as I already had a #3, #5, #7, #9 woods in my bag and was looking for #11, #14. I already owned a set of Irons that had a maltby playability factor over 1100 that I could not hit after reading and trying all sorts of instruction. I also tried Callaway fusion wide soles with a M.P.F. over 1200 to no avail. Then I researched and stumbled onto these Power Play System Q Adrenaline Hybrid Utility Irons as they have a similar "Ginty" design as my woods which are very easy to hit, (Cleveland Vas woods) and thought I would try 1 last time. Boy am I glad I did I ordered them with UST proforce V2 shafts, (4 iron through SW) and as soon as they arrived I went to the range and was surprised when on the very first swing of the 7 iron the ball got up and flew straight as a arrow. I chalked it up as a total miss-hit as for me the normal flight is a horrible slice-o-matic shot that does not get 10 feet off the ground and flies about 40 yards. Took several more swings and had plenty of similar results and a smile from ear to ear. I then went to the course and after getting used to the clubs on the front 9 I got my first birdie since I cannot remember when and several pars and the rest bogeys which was great for me as I am normaly about a 40 handicapper and this was the first time out with these new irons. I did notice that I played about 2 irons shorter than my buddy which was no big deal as I just clubbed up to compensate. As I stated in the weaknesses section the paint finish is not great and I already have lost some on the sole of one of the irons, but with as good as I am hitting these I will pony-up in the future and get them a quality finish. I realize I am only speaking for myself when I say these irons are a godsend, but if you are like I was with a bag full of woods and a few Irons that I could not hit, you might want to give these a try.
