Precept Tour Premium Forged Irons

Precept Tour Premium Forged Irons

DESCRIPTION

When Precept decided to introduce a premium forging into the industry, we consulted one of the games best ball strikers - Stuart Appleby. With his direction and assistance, we have achieved the goal of creating one of the finest forgings in the game. The Precept Tour Premium Forged Iron is forged from the finest 1025 mild carbon steel providing exceptional feel and playability. Featuring a progressive cavity-back design, the long irons are easy to get in the air, while the short irons produce a flatter trajectory. With its longer hosel and minimal offset, the Tour Premium Forged Irons will appeal to the most discriminating traditionalist while maintaining a high level of forgiveness not found in muscleback designs.

About a year ago I set a goal of single diget handicap. So I started researching, I found these irons, for 6 months I thought it was the biggest mistake ever and a waste of money. But after hours and sweat I started hitting these perfect. It was the clubs and swing mechanics. These Irons will not just hand you a better swing. But once you get the watch out. Deadly... to pick up any iron and know within a feet yard excatly how far it is going is priceless. They will make you better, because you have to swing right. Best irons ive ever owned, I am at a .4 handicap now. par 3s are money, 170 and in is a birdie. If your a high handicap once every couple weeks golfer stay away. If your serious and go the range 2 or 3 times a week and play 1 times aweek AT LEAST then these are the best valkue you will find hands down.

Amazing irons for low-handicapper and scratch golfer. Easy to control and shape shots--just as good, if not better than the Mizuno MP-30. Not a set for high-handicappers and short hitters.

I love these clubs. I play with the 5-PW from the set. My accuracy with them is great. I love the feel when I hit it pure. Sometimes you do lose a lot of distance when you don't hit it well, but that is because of the forged nature. Ball still goes straight. Probably not for anyone that shoots over 82.

Bought these brand new basically on eBay for $200 what a steal, these are terrific. I also just got the apex edge pros and these are much better. Surprised to see a forged blade that I could pull out and hit perfect every time, especially the long irons. From 150 yds. in I am deadly, attacking the pin. Forgiveness is great even for a mid handicapper. These are great and have a great price. Only thing is they seem a tad bit short, but I have only been playing them two days, and that may work out.

I've tried just about every iron set out there and I find these irons the best compromise in all areas. The forgiveness of the iron is great. I can hit the ball thin and I still hit the green. Hit the ball flush and the accuracy is unmatched. Work the ball on the green both ways. I feel like a real player with these. Go after a tight pin placement with confidence because the accuracy is the best I have experienced. Distances are predictable and very evenly spaced out. What really sets these apart is the feel of any shot. Good feedback without the harsh feel. When you hit the sweet spot, it is like butter. If Precept invested in some advertising, these would no longer be the best kept secret in golf equipment.

Very nice set up, thin clean lines. Very consistant distance control. Workability is very good, however easier to draw than to fade.

Awesome set of irons! If you are looking for a forged set with a little forgiveness, then these are the irons for you. The yardage is accurate, you can work the ball well and they have the softest feel. I would highly recommend these clubs to anyone wanting a forged iron!!

Customer Service

clickandsavegolf.com is a great site. The irons came 3-PW and I called to see if they had a 2 iron which they sold me for only $25. (Edwin Watts wanted $75 for the 2 iron)

Very, very good choice for former blade players looking for a litte more forgiveness. Non-offset, with the perfect size, and weighted for perfect trajectory from club to club. These will be in the bag for a long time. Great time to pick these up as they can be had for about 1/3 of what they originally retailed for. and much less on eBay.
