I love these irons. Bought them used, with 6.0 rifle shafts, at 1 inch long, perfect set up for me. The look is real clean and sharp, and the feel and ball flight is sweet. I hit them longer than my old cavity back irons, but the best part is the joy of hitting the ball. The club requires a good swing. Not for the occassional golfer who hacks the ball all over.

i recently purchased a set of snake eyes fmc-1 forged irons thru a club builder on ebay. i had hit a buddy of mines ben hogan's, but with a price tag of around $700 they were out of my ballpark. i saw this set of snake eyes fmc's on ebay, and they have a very similar look to the hogan's. i can say what these irons have done for me. i got the 3-pw and added the sw and lw. these irons are so forgiving for a forged iron, it is unreal. you get that amazing feel when you pure one, i have added about 8 yards to my distance with each iron. i have rifle precision 5.0's, d3 swingweights, and went with lambkin cord grips. i have played 4 rounds this year, breaking 80 the last 2 times, first time i've ever done that. these irons are teriffic. well worth the money spent. get a set if you can, they're worth it.

I HEAR LOTS OF COMPLAINING ABOUT THESE IRONS! LOTS OF GUYS WHINING ABOUT " LACK OF AUTHORITY" " CANT GET THE DISTANCE" I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY TO YOU - STOP JACKING YOUR HANDICAP AND STAY WITH THE GAME IMPROOVING CLUBS FOR HACKERS LIKE YOU! THESE STICKS ROCK. DEADLY ACURATE AND AS LONG AS ANY IVE PLAYED. NOT VERY FORGIVING ON MIS HITS, LOSS OF ABOUT 10 YARDS GUARANTEED IF YOU MIS THE SWEET SPOT BUT THE FEEL IS PURE FORGED BLADE THWAAAK. ANY ONE HAVE A SET THEY WOULD LIKE TO SELL ME CHEAP? HOT TIP, USE A NICE SET OF RIFLES WEIGHT THE HEADS WITH TUNGSTEN TO ABOUT A D-2 OR D-3 STANDARD LENGTH 5i "38 AND PUT A SMOOTH POWERFUL STROKE ON THEM AND TRUST ME THEY WILL RESPOND WITH ALL THE AUTHORITY YOU CAN IMPART!!! BOTTOM LINE - PLAYERS ONLY, NO HACKERS ALLOWED.

Great feel AND forgiveness. Used Rifle Lite 5.5 shafts and impact is silky smooth (most of the time ;-) Was looking to get some forged irons this year and tried the Hogan line. They are good, but the Snake Eyes are everything they are and even a bit larger, expanding the sweet spot and offering more forgiveness. They are most expensive irons in the Golfsmith line however, but the set is still much less expensive than the Hogans.

Customer Service

Haven't used, but the order handlers were knowlegable, helpful, and pleasant.

I played ping eye 2 for many years. but this club surpasses it in terms of control and feel. this club is well worth the value. if you are a cavity back player who is thinking to switch to forged, this club is a good choice. i put in some rifle 6.0. words can't describe how these have improved my ball striking. it is a pleasure to play golf again.

These rock. Only knock would be resale, but that is never going to happen anyway.

Punk kids work at the one in Duluth, I am carrying out an armful of shafts and a bagful of heads and other clubmaking supplies while pushing a baby stroller and they don't even get the door for me. Would it have killed you to help a guy out? I have heard about other stores employees carrying stuff out to your car, must just be the one in Duluth, GA with rude employees.

These are FANTASTIC irons. They look great and I was amazed at how easy they are to hit. I played with Titleist Tour Model irons a long time ago until I was given a set of Ping Eye 2's as a gift. I played the Pings for many years and forgot what a pleasure it was to swing a sweet set of forged blades. These are not forgiving clubs, but they have such a great feel to them that you will find yourself making much better and more consistent swings. They are FUN to hit and will actually make you a better player if you are willing to work at it a little bit. What more could you ask for? I will never own a set of cast clubs again.

I received these for a christmas present. I have the TT Trigold shafts with sensicore. The first time I took these to the driving range I was more than pleasantly surprised. They feel great and produce multiple shot patterns with ease. They forced me to put the calloways up for sale. I like the way they look at address and when I strike the ball correctly it feels like butter. I believe anybody would truly love these irons

First some background. I played Mizuno Blades for a long time until recently when I traded for Ping I-3 Blades. I really missed that forged feel but loved the extra forgiveness. I decided I could look around for a second set of forged clubs but I did not want to invest alot of cash. I wandered into Golfsmith and saw these clubs and knew I had to have them. I assembled them with Dynamic Golds and WOW!!!. They look great, feel as good as any Mizuno I ever owned and set me back less than $400. I hit the ball higher than my Pings and they are fairly forgiving. Anyone looking for a forged club should give these a look. The craftmanship is wonderful and they are beautiful clubs. Let me put it this way, I thought I would never own what I considered a "knock off" or a non-proline club, but these have unseated my Pings and I am going back for some wedges and probably a fairway wood. Kudos to Golfsmith and "you've come a long way baby".

Customer Service

Very good and always glad to answer a questions.
