Shoots in the 80s

I had an older set of Taylor Made LCG's that I loved. I knew exactly how long they would be when I hit them and where, for the most part, the ball would go.
I bought these clubs after a visit to my local golf shop because I had the bug for a new set of clubs.
I CANNOT HIT THEM STRAIT. I have worked at the driving range, and on the course but no matter what I do I keep fading badly.
I demo'ed a Cleavland 6 iron and hit it side by side on the course with my XD's. Every shot with the Cleavland was strait, 2 out of 10 with the XD's were anywhere but strait.
I have totally lost my confidence in my irons and they used to be my strong part of the game.
I am selling them because I cannot hit them at all. I love Taylor Made but these clubs didn't work for me, I just have way too many miss hits.

Very easy to hit and long. However, distance control can be an issue, especially with the scoring clubs, and the accuracy of the stock graphite shafts is not ideal. Ideal for players with moderate swing speeds looking for distance with forgivability.

Well, unlike other people, I just bought me a set of these Burners XD’s and love them to death. Nothing hard about them. One thing for sure about these clubs, they hit looonng! It really changed my club choice by a whole club sometimes 2 but this comes with more confidence on knowing that this club is so forgiving that when you try to kill the ball you know its going straight. I totally recommend this club to all handicap levels but if you want blade feeling off the club, BUY A BLADE CLUB!!!

Model Reviewed: TAYLORMADE BURNER XD GRAPITE IRONS

I'M A 9 HANDICAP & I HAVE OWNED TAYLORMADE IRONS FOR MANY YEARS. I WAS EXCITED WHEN TAYLORMADE CAME OUT WITH THE BURNER XD IRONS.

I BOUGHT A SET OF IRONS STIFF WITH GRAPHITE SHAFTS FOR $1150.

I HAVE OWNED THESE IRONS FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS & HAVE SPENT MANY HOURS ON THE DRIVING RANGE TRYING TO HIT THESE CLUBS!!

MY BEST SCORE IS A 75 THAT I SHOT TWICE WITH MY TAYLOR MADE FIRESOLE IRONS THAT WERE 10 YEARS OLD!

SINCE BUYING THE BURNER XD IRONS MY SCORES HAVE BEEN IN THE HIGH 80'S. I BOUGHT THE IRONS BECAUSE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO GO STRAIGHT! BUT THEY HAVE BEEN VERY DIFFICULT TO HIT STRAIGHT & DISTANCE CONTROL!!

I WILL SELL THESE CLUBS SOON & PROBABLE GET A SET OF PING I-10'S.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE CLUBS FOR ANY GOLFER AT ANY HANDICAP LEVEL!
